It’s okay, a bit underwhelming

I purchased this scooter about 6 months ago. The frustration started right away because it was back ordered so I had to wait longer to actually get it. Then when I finally got it it took me forever to put together because it wouldn’t lock in place but after much fidgeting I finally got it to work. The scooter itself is OK it’s a bit of a rough ride. I use it around my apartment complex because the complex is huge and it’s helpful to use it when going to the pool or the clubhouse or the convenient store on site. Going uphill is very very slow and I usually end up getting off of it and walking it even up the smallest hills. I don’t expect it to be able to go up a massive hill but I did expect it to be able to handle a slight incline which it cannot do. I was a bit I was a bit frustrated because about a month or so after I purchased this one a brand new one came out that seemed so much better so I feel like I kind of got a bum deal. I will probably end up selling it because I really don’t like to ride it that much because of the roughness and I think there are better ones out there. It’s a shame I was very excited to get it but it just didn’t end up being all I expected it to be. I will probably end up going with one that is the same model as the ones used by Bird because those definitely have a lot of pick up and are a much better ride than this model.

Terrible scooter.

I bought this 2 months ago and just recently my scooter collapsed and it then folded itself. I did secure the lever so that doesn’t happen but it collapsed on its own either way. I ended up with a permanent injury. I haven’t recovered and I can’t move hands anymore. I can only move 1 hand with my 3 fingers. Do not buy this product.

I bought The swagger 53 months ago. It has given me nothing but problems. Some mornings it doesn’t even start up. The charger broke immediately on it I had to go out and buy a new one. The kickstand fell off about aMonth after I bought it. The front tire never stays filled with air I have to fill it constantly. I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ok for the price. Model needs rework!

Pros: Sleek design. Comfortable. Easy to setup. Great speeds. App connects well to device. Holds a charge well so far (Delivered Christmas Eve)! Cons: Nice looking, aside the cell phone holder broke The cell phone holder broke twice! Cost me a hundred bucks to replace sons phone. The rubber cable separators do not stay in place. The power supply inlet is located close to the ground making charging a tedious daily task. Not to mention the protective cover for the power inlet is a separate piece which fell off during the second ride, leaving the same inlet susceptible to the elements when riding.

Good value

I bought this as a gift for my teen daughter but it has been me, a working adult, whoakes almost dauly use of it to commute to work about a mile and a half from home. My short about town commutes by scooter save me parking fees and time, and its fun. But I wwould caution anyone to avoid the temptation of going full throttle on sidewalks or roads as the small wheels do not ride over holes or sidewalk cracks. More particularly about the Swagger 5, I live in flat Florida and I have not been able to get more than about ten or so miles from a charge, so I frequently take the charger with me. On the other hand, it charges relatively quickly. Lastly, the folding handlebar is pretty sturdy and locks in place alright but it does have a little play.

Great mobility

I bought this for my husband after listening to him complain about missing the early bus home all the time. From the first day he got and used it he said it was worth it. The biggest complaint that I’ve heard from him was that when he had to send it back for repairs that it took way too long to get it back. Recently his front tier isn’t staying inflated but I don’t know what he’s going to do as yet. Overall he loves the scooter.

A lot of fun

I enjoy my scooter.i use it ever day to pick my son up from school.the only things that are wrong is that the screw to the clamp of the handle bar shaft constantly comes loose.i have to tighten it , like after every 2times that I ride it .cause the handle bar shaft becomes loose and has to much play in it.and a longer charging cord would be nice.but over all it is fun to ride

My expectations were too high

This electric scooter was purchased as a Christmas gift in December I had to wait for warmer weather in order to use it. The most disappointing portion of this experience is the low battery life. Despite the terrain I get less than 8 miles per full charge. I cannot complain about speed although speech never reached 80 mph. 16 tops. However I am disappointed in the lack of power when writing on an incline.

Christmas Present for My Husband

As my husband was desperate for a electric scooter - I caved and bought him one for Christmas. Mind you, we live in a cold weather climate, so he hasn’t been able to use it much :) He really likes it....runs well and goes relatively fast. One issue is with the wheel cover seems to rub on the bolts, so it makes a noise when it goes. He has tried to work to get it fixed on his own, but will likely need to take it in. I did email the company the day after he got it about the issue, but never heard back in regards to this. Which was disappointing. Otherwise, he likes it....it’s been around the neighborhood a few times (despite the snow) and the dog enjoys running alongside.

Great on flat ground

I’ve had this scooter just over 4 months with just under 60 miles so I believe I can give a true and fair review. Pros: Looks good Folds Lightweight but sturdy Bright headlight and tail light Brake light Smooth exceleration Brakes work great Quite Front tire is air filled Phone holder Bell Good grips that are removable The deck is comfortable and grips good Cons: 15mph top range not 18 w/175# rider 7 miles per charge not 11 Doesn’t climb (only 250w) Back tire is honeycomb so you hit one hard bump they collapse so the tire gets warped and there’s no way to fix it Rubber cover for charge post is hard to replace Can’t buy replacement parts To wrap it up it’s a good scooter for a beginner and for the price point as long as you stay on flat ground and just want something to get you from point A to B I just don’t think it will hold up for every day use.
