At first I thought it was too big and too fast for my 11 year old but it ended up being great for him and for all the family. I would not go for anyone younger. We’ve only had it for one month or maybe less as delivery was a very big disappointment it would not arrive, dates kept changing and changing. So if you are in no hurry or are depending on expected date of arrival it’s a good buy.

Fun for all

I purchased the "SWAGTRON Electric Scooter" as a Christmas gift.  Much to my surprise my grandson prefers a dirt bike.  So, I returned the scooter.  I have had other young riders to inform me how they enjoy the scooter and easy to fold and carry.

Excellent Scooter

We have three grand children that love these scooters, we bought 3 last Christmas that lasted about 4 months we couldn’t get them repaired through swagtron, but the kids liked them so well that we bought 3 more, hoping for the best. ( fingers crossed)

I love that it can almost completely assembled and only small things like the handle bars had to be attached. I loved that it was practically assembled because I was concern as to how I would put it together and I would have to pay someone to do that. My grandson love it and is enjoying it so much.

Swagtron give you the swag!

I purchased this scooter about 8 weeks ago from Sams Club and have been on several rides.  I'm getting about 14 mph top speed and the battery lasts about 6 or 7  miles.   It's nice that the scooter has 1 air tire - but only in the front.  As it helps with the bumps and uneven roads / sidewalks.  The downside is that i need to pump the tire every couple of days since new (I guess the tire has a leak). I also wish the tires were larger to give it more stability and riding comfort.   I did accessorize my scooter with LED lights (makes it cool and visible at night).  I like the 3 speed feature on this scooter; i started with Level 2 ; and got used to riding it ; now i leave it on Level 3 speed.   Overall it's a good value as most scooters are $500 +   If you do the scooter math ; this scooter pays for itself in 1 month vs. renting a scooter .

B Grade

The front headlight is a bit of getting use to on how to turn it on. The bracket for the phone holder is also a bit cumbersome on how to fit into the handle bar. The quality and craftmanship looks like it is well built. I like it. I read other reviews on these product saying that the speed is slow. I do not think it is on the Installation guide but the speed has 3 settings. First one is a slow speed (I would advice it for adults or kids who had never tried an electric scooter) and if you want a little faster then set it on 2 the third speed however is too fast for me so I kept it at 2. This is a good toy to go around museums in DC.

I bought this from Sams and it is on the cheap side. I have only had it one week and I weigh 150 lbs. It only lasted a little over 6 miles on one charge and mostly on level ground. The tire looses pressure and needs more air. I goes almost 16 mph with a full charge and slowly loses it mph until you are down to 13-14 mph as you near half charge.

Only 6 miles, not good

Build quality is solid but front tire will not stay inflated. This a big issue. I will try to return.
