Getting "green" which ripens at home...which is really preferably...add a "wet" paper towel around stem to extend shelf life.

The bananas are fresh and not rotted. The price is better than grocery stores that offer the same quantity.

We take it for granted that when we ask for bananas we'll get ripe ones but no we got green bananas. When we buy them we look at the photo showing ripe yellow ones but instead we got a bunch of green bananas. That was funny.

They were very tasty. However I would have liked them better if they had not gone mushy after 3 days. I had to throw out the last one on day 6, too soft.

You just have to wait a few days for them to start turning yellow and then getting spots—they're very underripe when you buy them. I cut them up and freeze them to use in smoothies and ice cream.

These are always delicious, but I have to remind banana fans, which describes almost everyone, to try to select a bunch with at least a little greenness. This is because they ripen rapidly, but they are certainly yummy!

I'm really enjoying having bananas. In Hawaii, I had bananas with lilikoi on it. They're a good price. Overall they get pretty ripe before getting brown spots and then they work their way to banana bread.

It would be nice if the bunches were in 1.5 lbs, so that I can grab 1 yellow bundle and 1 green bundle. Or they could be put together that way. This would allow less waste of bananas because some are ripe right away and others in a few days.

Even if you don't think your family can eat 3lbs of bananas, they ripen slowly and are fabulous for smoothies and banana bread. The quality is always great and, for the price, you can't pass up this kitchen staple.

I buy my fresh bananas at Sam's weekly. I choose the ripeness and I'm done. Bananas are healthy and versatile. The peels go into my garden soil or I feed the goats with them. No waste.
