Good snack! But if you don't have a few people in the family to eat them fast enough they get over ripe fast! Thank goodness we enjoy banana bread so once a few become over their time I freeze them. Sometimes I feel that it's less wasteful to just pick up 4 bananas at a time from the store, at least we eat them before having to freeze.

These are never ripe, so if you do curbside pickup, plan on it. These are a great value. I have to take medicine and can easily keep one beside the bed so I can take my medication. Easy cheap and convenient. If you are cooking or baking, get a week in advance.

Fresh... most of the time they are partial green and yellow. I split them 3-4 out on table which gets a little sunlight and the other 3-4 i put in a clear bag handing in my pantry where its dark and cool (where those keep longer) by doing this i can make the bunch last a full 7 days

I guess when you use the online shopping you get what you get. My bananas where green. It took days for them to turn yellow which indicates that they are ready to eat. Well soon as they turned yellow they turned brown and became mush. Neverver will I buy bananas online. I will pick my own bunch.

I prefer my Bananas slightly green (may be an unpopular opinion) so I will only purchase bananas that are a specific color. Too green-they'll never ripen. Too yellow- they will have to be eaten immediately or fed to my monkey-possessed children. Typically I will purchase small bunches at smaller markets to reduce the possibility that my mood changing children won't want bananas for the next week and I'll be inclined to turn leftovers into smoothies or banana bread. This particular trip, we had almost no fruit in the house and my little demons were getting feisty so possibility of stopping somewhere else was not happening. Overall, good purchase. Bananas were perfect for me the next day and were gobbled up between the 4 of us within 3 or 4 days.

Sam's is the best place to buy you bananas. Everywhere else is more expensive. The bananas at Sam's may be a little blemished- they aren't perfect. They are like people when they age, age spots, dings and some gashes but still perfectly fine and beautiful on the inside.

I have been disappointed with the last 2 purchases of bananas for pick up service. The time before last, the bananas were so green they NEVER ripened. They just got brown spots and became mushy. Threw them away. The last time they got a little more ripe but still a big disappointment. Don't think I will try these again unless I pick them out for myself.

I like buying bananas from Sam's because they are always nice and firm. I prefer to eat a banana while it is still firm, almost green. They last several days without getting too ripe. As bananas ripen, the sugar content rises. So a less ripe banana has fewer calories.

Ordered for pick up at the store. Didn't notice what they looked like when the store employee brought them out and loaded in the back of my car! Anyway, they never do ripen to the yellow color that most bananas look like. They do ripen but the peel looks almost black. They taste ok but not exceptional. I probably won't buy again?

I was worried about getting such a large bunch of bananas and being able to use them before they went bad, but the price was too good to pass up. The bananas stayed fresh longer than I expected and were delicious. For fresh produce, Sam's Club quality and prices can't be beat!
