With the price and quality I seldom go elsewhere f

This is technically the only place it makes sense to buy bananas. I usually pick up three bunches at a time that seems to be my magic number at this point with the increased size of the household. This is also about a two week supply. With the price and quality I seldom go elsewhere for that quantity.

We used the order on line and pickup at the store feature which has recently been instituted. Ordered the bananas with a special request that it include some greener ones. The ones we received were just as ordered! Love this new service being offered by Sam's Club!

The Potassium Posse That Packs a Punch (Sometimes)

These Sams Club bananas, let's just say they're a mixed peel. One bunch might have you swinging from the chandeliers with their sunshiney sweetness, while the next could leave you in a full-on monkey pout with their mushy misfortune. It's a jungle in that produce aisle, folks. The Good: Bulk-a-licious: You get enough potassium to fuel a gorilla army, or at least your morning smoothie obsession. Price-tastic: Your wallet will do a happy dance compared to those overpriced grocery store singles. Ripeness Roulette: It's like a tropical treasure hunt! Will you unearth perfectly golden gems, or find mushy brown landmines? The thrill is real. The Not-So-Good: Inconsistent Bunch Bunch: You never quite know what you're gonna get. Green grenades? Spotted retirees? It's a banana lottery, my friends. Bruise City: These guys have seen some things. Travel bumps, fridge fumbles, the occasional rogue shopping cart – their skin tells the tale. The Great Peel-Off: Sometimes, peeling these suckers feels like defusing a bomb. One wrong move and you're covered in banana goo. Not the festive look you were going for. Overall: Sams Club bananas: a gamble with a potentially delicious payoff. If you're feeling adventurous (and have plenty of potassium-deficient friends), grab a bunch. Just remember, entering the jungle comes with risks. You might end up with the ripest bunch this side of the equator, or you might need to channel your inner Jane Goodall to salvage something edible. It's all part of the Sams Club banana charm, wouldn't you say?

Money saver

I personally am not a fan of bananas with black or brown spots at all. And that's why I purchase. Them at sams club. Because fruit and vegetables are always perfect I know my purchases will always get eaten and can be used to prepare meals no waisting my hard earned money because it spoiled. Soon after purchase. Sams. Earned my trust

Fresh Bananas

I like buying bananas from Sam's because they are always nice and firm. I prefer to eat a banana while it is still firm, almost green. They last several days without getting too ripe. As bananas ripen, the sugar content rises. So a less ripe banana has fewer calories.

Fresh, Taste Wonderful and Good for You!

I love bananas and they are so good for you. Sam's has the freshest and largest bunch of bananas at a ridiculous low price. I was afraid to buy them at first because I use curbside pick-up so someone else selects them for me, but so far these have been fresh, no dark spots and you are truly going to love the price. I've started buying them with every order. May God Bless

America's favorite fruit--I just read it's berry!

Good value for the money and they are not overripe or rejects. I just read that bananas are not a fruit but are a berry. If you believe that then you may believe that raspberries, blackberries . . . are NOT really berries. I am not rocking the boat any further and I am not certain why I am giving a review on bananas. Who can knock bananas!

Too Green

Wait For The Change. I get it, its winter and obviously dole is importing bananas from tropical areas, but everything lately is way too green. If i wanted a head of lettuce colored banana, id go for romain. Theyre harvesting bananas way too soon. Why not just wait two weeks and give them a chance to be ripe.

Good price, but not always ripe.

I ordered these to be picked up in the store so I can feed the basketball team before a game. When I got to the store, the bananas were very green. I tried to exchange them but the others weren't much better. It would be a good idea to keep some in rotation so that you can offer ripe bananas for those that need to eat them right away and some that aren't for those that plan to use at a later time.

Still a little green so they last several days.

The bananas are always fresh and still have some green which I like. They last several days versus the ones the regular grocery stores have that are all yellow and start turning brown right away. I prefer my bananas to be a little on the firm side so these are perfect for me.
