I love buying green bananas from Sam's Club, that way they don't get overly sweet and can ripen at a pace where my kiddos can eat them before they get brown and look undesirable. They never disappoint!

Terrible! The attendant who selected these gave half green bananas, they never turned yellow to ripen. They went from partial green to brown I threw them away after a week and a half I wanted to see is they would ever ripen

Went from green (don't like to eat that way) to extremely ripe over night. Ate 1 and had to freeze others for bread. They are a good price for bread making though!

The bananas were very green, was told that they just came off the truck, they should ripped in a couple of days. After 3 days the were still green, but getting very soft. I didn't even try to eat them, just threw them away.

Always had good luck with SC Bananas. You still have to be careful of the sticky ones and over ripe ones if you are not making banana bread right away.

A review of bananas, that's bananas. Love the price and always fresh. Not much more to say. I'd like to have a sticker on the bananas like the grapes you are selling with the picture and QR code if the farm hand that picked these. I thought that was fun. Sometimes people forget all the hard work that goes into getting food farm to table.

This review is not just for Sam's bananas but all bananas in general. Something is not right with today's bananas! When I was young, bananas would last several days and gradually turn ripe. Today's bananas look good for a day or two then start getting these little black spots on them then immediately start turning black in a day or two. I wish someone could explain what the differences are from bananas of today. Thanks.

A FEW OF THE BANANAS WERE HALF ROTTEN. THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE. THE BANANAS LOOK BEAUTIFUL BUT WHEN YOU PEAL BACK THE SKIN, THE BLOSSOM END IS BLACK HALF WAY DOWN THE BANANA. THIS HAS ONLY STARTED FAIRLY RECENTLY. THIS IS THE THIRD BUNCH WE HAVE RECEIVED THAT HAVE SHOWN THIS DEFECT.

These bananas were green when I got them and I was happy for that because they are quite a bunch and I like when they ripen slowly. That being said, every time I buy bananas from a big box store they never turn yellow. They seem to ripen but stay green. It seems to me they do not gas them, to extend the shelf life. I had bought some from another big box store with the same problem, but I thought I would try them from Sam's and maybe it would be a different outcome, but no it was not. I have learned my lesson I will stick to the local grocery for bananas.

THE best value for bananas anywhere! We always grab a bunch or two of these bananas each time we visit Sam's Club. They are NEVER bruised, and I think that the best thing about them is that they're never overripe, they are sold with plenty of green left on them, so that I can count on them to always last around a week. Plus, the price is unbeatable. We never miss the chance to get our bananas from Sam's Club!
