The deck box is very nice. Size is great actually larger than I was expecting. Assembly was very easy and construction of box seems very well made. The only issue I have is lid was Tweaked so we have a bag of sand on top to see if we can get the one side to lay flat.

Just received my deck box and followed easy to read instructions. Last item was to install the second gas shock which I found had a manufactures defect. Called the 1-800 number and the tech support gentlemen Diante quickly and professionally helped get a replacement part ordered.

Great for storage of patio and porch items that need protection from weather and the occasional wild critter. I am a bit biased because I own, are familiar with and a big fan of other lifetime products. But at the same time the storage box assembly was a little more labor intensive than I expected and I was expecting a product made by the good people of Utah, not Made in Mexico! My wife is very happy with the storage box " the color blends well with everything". We all know how wives are.

Purchased with the intent to declutter my front porch of random stuff i inevitably need/use after putting away somewhere else in the basement (automotive tools, ramps, cleaning supplies). Held everything that was there and still have lots of available space. This is DEFINITELY a 2 person build. Luckily my daughter helped me assemble it. So far I am pleased, but with some upcoming bad weather that's approaching and some on line reviews of similar porch boxed storage units NOT being waterproof as advertised, I'll guess I'll just have to wait and see if it a great investment or just another false advertisement. So for now I'll rate it a 4 and will update at a later date after the heavy rains pass this week.

Over all this is a nice storage box. The problem was, about 10 of the important assembly screws were totally wrong. They were way too big for parts they were supposed to secure. Also, the gas springs to keep the lid open were impossible to get on. And I mean impossible. Several big guys tried with no luck. Apart from that, everything else was ok.

First of all they need to use more ink when printing the manual it was so faded you could barely see it also they usually give you the tools or tools and every box to build the item Plus if you go on YouTube there are a few videos you can watch some of them overdo it like having to put the screw down in the bottom feet you do not need to drill the self tapping screws

We love the size of this outdoor storage box. It was easy to put together, but 2 people make it more manageable. It holds all of our BBQ gear, including fire starters, charcoal, fire pit tools, heat resistant gloves, etc., large outdoor games (corn-hole, ladder golf, bocce, etc.) and there's still plenty of room!

I have several Lifetime products and all have been great, except deckbox lid which warped. I contacted the company, and to their credit, they said they would replace the lid. Last night I got an email that new lid was delivered but apparently not to my address becuase it is nowhere to be seen. HELP!

Some assembly is required but it is totally worth it. This is a high quality box. A drill is required but I don't recommend using a power driver unless it has a setting to reduce torque. The box is made of plastic so with enough force the screw can strip the plastic. The lid is strengthened with metal pieces for the locking mechanism and installation of struts. This makes for a very good product. Ours has not leaked after enduring a couple heavy rains.

I brought two other 50 gal storage and was able to put them together myself in :30 mins. I never put anything together. They were strong & sturdy. I was suorise so I brought this 150 storage to use in my garage for items I'm not ready to get rid of. I haven't put it together yet but I'm sure It will be easy once I clean out the garage
