I am baffled at how quickly LifeTime had a new part shipping to me to replace a warped lid. They even let me know why it was warping and what to look for in my yard that must be reflecting a lot of sun so it wouldn’t happen again. Thank you LifeTime!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BETTER LID DESIGN closing seal than other Lifestyle sized units which i also have. I ALSO liek this DEPTH / width verses larger units which a re longer but more NARROW. This deck box, tho technically 'smaller' cuft allows me to put and fit a FULL-SIZE STIHL BACKBACK BLOWER inside..WITH complete hose attached!

Bought this last week and after putting it together realized one of the compression rods was broken. Called customer service and left a message on Saturday. On Monday customer service had called back and was shipping me the replacement part. Customer service was excellent.

This box is extremely sturdy and well made. After 2 years of South FL humidity, the pistons rusted. I contacted the company with photo evidence and they sent replacement parts very quickly. Overall, very pleased with the deck box and Lifetime customer service!

Appears to be of good quality. Very sturdy and should be durable. Assembly was relatively easy although one of the pistons for the lid would not attach. Had to call Lifetime and ask them to send me another piston. Hopefully it will attach properly.

We really like this deck box - much sturdier than expected! My husband put it together. He is very methodical, so took an hour or so. Had to enlarge two holes that were slightly too small to accept the screws but over all he was impressed with the quality of the box and the hardware provided. It has been put to good use holding my gardening supplies.

This box exceeds our expectations - just what we needed for tools and garden chairs when we down-sized from a big home with garage to an apartment. Assembly instructions are meticulous and easy to follow and the result is attractive and functional and it takes more than I had hoped to fit in (I would illustrate that with a photograph, if it were not pouring with rain!). One minor part was a bit slack and customer service in USA replaced that immediately, although I had purchased the box from a supplier in the UK. Impressive all round.

Bought this product about two years ago. Holding up pretty well except for the gas springs. The pieces that connect the gas springs to the box and lid are made from plastic. Over time the force of the kid opening causes the gas spring to strip the threads in the connects causing them to fall out. The lid becomes non-operative. The two connectors at each end of the gas springs need to be made with metal.

It was not an overly easy assemble for someone like me who can barely use a screwdriver, but someone knowledgeable went out and assembled it quickly. It's deeper than I realized! I'm anxious to see how "weatherproof" it is. It gives no guarantee that it's weatherproof, so I have it sitting under a protective cover and before I put a bunch of items in it, I want to see how it goes. So far, so good though! Worth the $$$

If there had been a choice of the older model or this one I would have taken the older model. Appears a little more heavy duty. I have the older model and the bench. They are nice though and with no choice I would buy them again. Just saying, I like the older model best.
