It was not an overly easy assemble for someone like me who can barely use a screwdriver, but someone knowledgeable went out and assembled it quickly. It's deeper than I realized! I'm anxious to see how "weatherproof" it is. It gives no guarantee that it's weatherproof, so I have it sitting under a protective cover and before I put a bunch of items in it, I want to see how it goes. So far, so good though! Worth the $$$

Seems sturdy, however it is no better than similarly priced competitors such as Keter. My biggest gripe is the assembly, which was overly complicated needing unnecessary amount of tools that were not provided. The lid won't close completely because the two metal locks rub against each other. In a word, if this is on massive discount buy it. Otherwise, I'd stick with its competitors such as Keter or Suncast which I also own and happy with.

This is the second 116 gallon LIFETIME storage box we've purchased. We use the first one to store windshied cleaaner, brake fluid, funnels, a battery harger, car polish, etc.. The second one will hold Bobcat Trackloader gear: hydraulic oil, a grease gun,paper towels, rags, tie wire and such.

This is so utilitarian for many storage items. We bought it to store kindling on our front porch. It keeps the porch looking tidy and will keep the wood dry. The instructions were easy to understand and all of the parts were provided. Very pleased with this purchase.

WONDERFUL large size fit ALL my patio pillows. Finally a reasonably priced deck box that was big enough, looks nice and unintrusive behind my pergola, and feels sturdy! Fairly easy to construct if you follow the directions/diagrams in order! HA! I was so excited I got ahead of myself. Highly recommend.

Some assembly is required but it is totally worth it. This is a high quality box. A drill is required but I don't recommend using a power driver unless it has a setting to reduce torque. The box is made of plastic so with enough force the screw can strip the plastic. The lid is strengthened with metal pieces for the locking mechanism and installation of struts. This makes for a very good product. Ours has not leaked after enduring a couple heavy rains.

Purchased through Costco. Takes a bit longer to build that I initially thought, but the result is very solid construction. There was a piece that did not fit properly upon construction, however, customer service at Lifetime was very helpful and took care of the issue with one call.

I purchased this online based on a number of other postive responses about the quality of the box. Once I received it and opened it up, I was pleasantly surprised to find it easy to install with extremely well written instructions. I have assembled a fair amount of things in my life and Lefetime really put some time into putting together the instructions to make it easy to understand. The quality of the box is very good as well and I am very pleased. I did get a bad gas prop and once I emailed them, they got back to me right away and sent a free replacement.

The item is really well made and was easy to assemble.

Within 2 days top cover ends curved up:
