The smoothest tequila I have had al year outside of what I got in Mexico. The taste and the aroma as you pull the glass to you is superb. I am reluctant to mix this with anything as it is top of the line. Get you a bottle today. You will not be disappointed.

Tried Don Julio 1942 in a glass and it truly impressed me. It was smooth, rich, and had a warm vanilla-oak flavor that made it easy to sip neat. The finish was soft with a touch of spice, and it felt like a luxury drink meant to be savored. Definitely worth it for a special occasion.

If you want to spend some extra money on some good tequila this is the one I would go with!! This was my first time trying Don Julio 1942 and I am obsessed! This is the smoothest and best tasting tequila I have had yet! It taste best, to me, when it's chilled but it also taste amazing room temperature as well.  I chase it with Ginger ale or sprite - both paired great with it!

If you're gonna be taking shots, this is the one to do it with. The packaging is slender so it allows it to fit in your fridge or cabinet nicely. It is a bit more pricey than other brands, but you get what your pay for and with alcohol sometimes the added cost is worth it

Hands down one of he best tequilas out there. The color is dark amber and the taste is so velvety smooth and sweet that if it didn't say “Don Julio” on the bottle, you would likely never know it was even tequila. It is the definition of a true “sipping tequila,” as the flavors slowly develop with the ice ball, transitioning from pronounced oak, almost whiskey-like notes, and then into raisin and vanilla with only a faint trace of smoke and earth. It was pretty surprising that the typical astringent "pepper and agave" that usually comes from blue agave is almost completely absent; making this one of the smoothest tequilas we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying.

where do i start this will never do you wrong, no hangovers and all. i could write a book about thos stuff. i wish for a lifetime supply of it hands down the best tequlia ive ever had ill continue to always chose this one every time im drinking it goes down like water.

Honestly this is the most high and tequila you can possibly get but I have actually tried better from local tequila distilleries in Jalisco. This is probably the best tequila you can get in the United States or outside of Mexico but I do not recommend this if you were in Mexico.

Just like most Dons, you don't cross them unless you're prepared to deal with the consequences, luckily the only consequence you have to deal with when crossing this Don is a great night. This smooth tasting tequila is a must have, and the 1942 is nothing short of amazing.

Best tequila on this planet! Perfect liquor to keep around the house for any event. It can be expensive for a gift but worth every penny. Completely met my expectations and the flavor is subtle and smooth. I bought 5 bottles for Christmas and you buy again anyday. 

ummmm this is the only hard liquor I ever actually want to drink and honestly it's pretty explanatory. expensive? sure. but a real night out is incomplete without it. I love mixing it with ginger beer but I've gotten used to the taste lol. definitely I recommend.
