The tequila itself is ok. Nothing I would rave about especially at its price point . The bottle and packaging is gorgeous but the tequila is not worth the 200 price tag. It does make a great margarita tho. However there is a Jose Cuervo traditional that tastes very similar at a fraction of the price.

I tried This tequila at a friends house, and the quality on this is top. It is worth the price, it is better to enjoy it by itself rather than mixing it with margarita mix. It is really worth the price. It is really smooth and I really enjoy drinking it.

All of the DJ tequilas are exquisite. I love this brand and have been drinking it for years. Don’t judge. But yes amazing. I drink all my tequila drinks the same. Either on ice or on ice with a twist of lime and splash of soda. However this is the one tequila I drink straight from the bottle. Just throw it in the freezer and drink like water.

DJ-1942 is not for the faint of heart. Both taste and price are towards the high end of what you’ll find when it comes to tequila. It’s super smooth and has a oaky spice with a fresh agave finish. It’s definitely a special occasion tequila so I don’t recommend it for mixed drinks. Honestly, you’re wasting your money doing that and you’ll be better off with a cheaper tequila. But if you’re looking to have a fancy night and enjoy top-notch tequila, Don Julio 1942 is your best bet. The bottle pictured is from our 10 year anniversary/engagement night.

I mean who doesnt love a classic 1942 Tequila. This is literally heaven in a bottle, its my go to tequila. Its so yummy and soft. I recommend this if you want to take a couple of tequila shots without the harsh hangover in the morning. The packaging is so beautiful if you want to buy this for a friend as gift!

Oh my lort, this stuff is SOOOOO good which makes it dangerous because you won't want to stop drinking it. It is the smoothest tequila I have ever had and there is NO comparison to 1942, it is life changing. If you're debating on whether or not it is worth the price point.... it IS

High end tequila. 1942 is my favorite. It's incredibly smooth and easy to sip. It's boojie and it's nice to have in your house when you're entertaining. The bottle is sexy and even though it can be awkward to pour it looks great in my bar and I'm always down for Don Julio.

I usually on drink the white Don Julio but I’m trying to open up my palate to new taste. I absolutely love this spirit. It is smooth and has a nice smoky flavor as you swallow. It is a premium liquor. I paid over $200 with taxes. I plan to repurchase when my bottle is gone. Love it.

This is my favorite tequila. Yes it is quite pricy but you definitely get what you pay for. This is quality and will really change your drinking experience. I prefer to drink this neat or chilled. It’s really good and can be sipped instead of drinking shots with it.
