This is the best tequila I have ever tasted, and it is reserved only for special occasions because of its high price tag. I wouldn’t call this great value, but I would call it worth it. We have this as a sipping tequila for family gatherings or celebrating. It’s incredibly smooth and delicious but I would never mix it because it’s so great standing alone.

This is definitely the smoothest tequila i have tried. The price is always affordable and the taste is amazing also . Most stores have it for around the same price, but sometimes you can find it a little cheaper. You can pair it with a mixer or on the rocks is great.

I received my first bottle of this as a birthday gift. Since then, I have made sure my bar always includes a bottle of this. A fantastic sipping tequila. The only tequila I prefer for sipping is Cuervo’s Mi Familia, which if you haven’t tried is a world away from Cuervo’s mass market tequila. There is a great high end Mexican restaurant in my town that offers over 100 tequilas. I like to sample new brands, but my go tos are either 1942 or Mi Familia.

If you aren't a fan of tequila, you haven't tasted Don Julio 1942!! This tequila is really smooth and doesn't leave a harsh burn like other tequilas I've had. I also love the sweet notes it leaves on the palate. The bottle shape and design is also pretty clever, resembling the agave leaf! The liquid does pour out quickly, so you have to be careful not to over pour and spill. Other than that, it's one of the best tequilas I've tasted and can be enjoyed on its own!

If you want to spend some extra money on some good tequila this is the one I would go with!! This was my first time trying Don Julio 1942 and I am obsessed! This is the smoothest and best tasting tequila I have had yet! It taste best, to me, when it’s chilled but it also taste amazing room temperature as well.  I chase it with Ginger ale or sprite - both paired great with it!

Great gift for any tequila lover! I got a bottle of this for my manager and she loved it. She is always talking about tequila and how it is her guilty pleasure so our office splurged to get her a bottle. She was impressed by our pick and we all had a drink together - it was smooth and delicious!

This is expensive.  But also good.  So if you are having people over, I would suggest getting it.  Keep it away from the people you dont like, and give it to the ones you do.  It's super smooth and you should not drink it any way other than neat or rocks.  Would be a crime to mix.

Deeeeelicious. So smooth, doesn't leave that syrupy taste in your mouth like the cheaper options usually do. I'd almost say it's disrespectful to use this in a mixed drink - on the rocks is enough! Splurge for the good stuff, you'll thank yourself in the morning.

I seen everyone drinking this and wanted to see the hype. This is by far the best tequila I ever tasted. I tasted it room temperature and ice cold, both are amazing! Honestly my favorite tequila to date. It goes down so smooth and gets you feeling good. Definitely a crowd pleaser and a party starter. From the box to the bottle both are beautifully designed and look luxurious. It is on the expensive side for $100 a bottle but when you want this kind of quality you have to pay for it.
