This is a really delicious and tender cut of tenderloin. I bought a 6.63 pound tenderloin. I trimmed off 2 pounds of fat and ended up with 1 pound of small pieces to use for stir fry and approx 3 1/2 pounds of extremely small filets. So after trimming, I was left with a tenderloin that cost me about $26 per pound.

Too much fat. Bought this since I wanted a piece of meat without fat ands it was unfortunate what they packaged.

no question about great quality, but the price - what happened to the price up $5/per pound the a month????
