These Pilot Sport PS2 tires are installed on a BMW Z4 and replaced the original run flat tires. The tires are wearing very well with about 18K miles and I figure they should last another 20K. The ride is very good for a low profile tire and they do not grab the road grooves like the original tires. I am very happy with these tires and would definitely recommend them.

These tires are magnificent. The grip, handling and braking is simply fantastic. Not to mention, i'm above 32k miles and just now buying 2 front PS2's. The rear PS2's have a considerable amount of tread left. I think me and the ZR1 will burn those babies off for a little fun and to expedite the purchase of 2 more rears. I do want to try to keep the tread wear as even as i can. I'm sure Michelin will appreciate that....

When you drive a high performance car, you don't want to risk compromising that performance when you replace your tires. My Porsche Boxster S was equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport tires from the factory. Those tires provided that car with the grip and handling characteristics that Porsche is famous for. When it came time to replace the tires, I installed a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s. The new tires deliver the performance and the ride quality I expect. I had a set of PS2's on my '96 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo which has HP increased to 500+. It's a street car that I have tracked at Laguna Seca a couple of time on Michelin Cub tires. I don't drive this car that easy and normally am on twisty roads. My 19" street wheels use 235/35/19 front, and 315/25/19 in the rear. I normally go through 2 sets of rear tires to 1 set of front. I got 17K miles out of the rear tires the last time. I've tried other tire brands on the car in these sizes, and have only gotten around 12K miles out of them. PS2's in these sizes are VERY expensive, but their handling and surprisingly longer wear, make them my choice of tire. My car has 102K miles on it, 70K of which I put on since I brought the car 7 years ago. The think the PS2's are the best performance street tire I've used so. far.

This tire is among the very best I've ever tried! Tread wear and fuel economy were the only areas I did not rate it a 5 but in a performance tire catagory where 2.5 is the standard in these areas, the SP2 is outstanding! My only complaint is that it is not offered in a 33/35/17 or 315/35/17 to fit my Grand Sport Corvette or WS6. By the way, the best tires I've ever had for my Corvettes have been Michelin XGTs when I could still find them to fit. I tried a set from another brand name manufacturer who made impressive claims for their product but in reality they only look high performance and don't walk the walk. My Corvette and I are waiting for Michilens to fit.

I run these tires on a supercharged 2000 BMW M Roadster which I take to the track as often as possible. The car is also my daily driver here in Western Washington, so I see lots of wet weather as well. These tires are excellent in the dry and just as good when the road is wet. They do tend to tramline a bit, but this may be due, in part, to the fact that I am running tire widths in excess of the stock requirements (mine = 245/18F ans 265/18R, stock = 225/17F and 245/17R). I run these tire all the time on the street and whenever I go to the track. They have never let me down. I also compete in the One Lap of America event on a yearly basis and have run the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 in that event several times. They have returned great numbers on the skidpad and hold up well during a long week of driving on the interstates and a wide variety of tracks.

A truly exceptional performance summer tire. Predictable handling, enhanced road feel, and traction like glue. A tire so good I will be buying Michelin products from now on since a company that has their product this refined must be excellent across the board.

tires are the single most important factor BEYOND factory equipment to affect the overall performance of a vehicle. I chose these for a combination of handling, breaking, and comfort, realizing that the composite would increase wear factor. A good tradeoff.

Have these tires on three corvettes, '92, '98 and 2008 Z-51. Ever one of these cars has been driven in the heaviest rains in history at one time--didn't go looking for it but it happens. Home from Kentucky when Nashville flooded in 2010, Detroit 6" in one day. Hardly slowed down, except for visibility, not a hero, felt completely safe and in control. Great handling dry, only complaint a bit noisey on some surfaces esecially concrete. Use them all year round, no snow of course, just be sane when its cold. Next ones will be the new Super Sports . Have 44,000 miles on front tires on 2008 Vette, 23,000 on the rears, lots of open roads and touring.

These tires were purchased to replace the run-flats on my BMW 335i. The PS2s have better handling dynamics than the original equipment tire and felt more secure in every condition. I will but these tires again for my new BMW 335is when the correct size is available.
