Pilot Sport PS2.

I've trusted Michelin tires for over 20-years, and they continue to be my top choice. Over the years, I've tried other brands across various quality ranges, but I always find myself returning to Michelin. They consistently deliver a smooth, reliable ride that makes me feel safe and confident behind the wheel. Driving becomes pure enjoyment with no concerns—just performance and peace of mind. The only downside is the price. Yes, they're expensive, but when you're driving a high-performance vehicle, that extra cost is worth every penny for the security and quality you get.

Outperforms OEM

OEM tires on my '06 C6 Corvette lasted 20,000 miles. I now have 25,000 additional miles on my run-flat PS2s with plenty of treadwear left. No "autocross racing," but plenty of mountain roads and aggressive curves, plus normal city and highway driving. Confidence! TWICE nail punctured tires (same wheel) in parking lots. Warranty replacements, no hassle. Michelin = only way to go for me!

This is my first set of Michelin tires, ever. Prior to purchasing, I did a lot of research. I am very pleased with these tires. I give them 5 stars. Breaking is the best ever. I have only about 2000 miles on the tires at this time, but you can't tell it. They hold to the road surface great even when cornering at or above the speed limit subjested. The overall ride is smooth. I definately would recomend this tire to anyone that wants a preformance tire.

Grip Plus!!

I just put my second set of PS2s on my ZR1 corvette after 15,000 spirited miles of driving. The old ones had about 1/4 or the tread still remaining. I attended a 3 day driving school at Spring Mountain in Pahrump, NV. It was the Ron Fellows school that utilizes corvette ZR1s, Z06s, and Grand Sports. The PS2 Michelin is the only tire that they used at that time. The grip on the road course was amazing. Along with that, the tires were very predictable in the long sweeping turns. Unless Michelin comes out with another tire that has this level of performance, while still retaining reasonable wearability, I will look forward to purchasing a third set at some time in the future. Great product!

I wanted to upgrade the factory tire on my 2007 ZO6 to a tire which was superior to them. Since this tire was being put on new ZR1's, I felt that it had to be good. I was extremely pleased with the tire overall. Handling is excellent and in general a far superior tire and a great product to put on any corvette.

These tires are standard for our cars. We have 2 Chrysler Crossfires. My husband decided to buy a different brand of tires, but after I drove on the Michelins I just couldn't fathom using any else! The handling of my vehicle--in my opinion--FAR EXCEEDS the handling of his! My ride is smoother and quieter than his and it is all due to my tires. They do cost more than other brands and that is a fact, but if you are going to drive a high performance vehicle, you should use HIGH PERFORMANCE TIRES! They are the only tires I will ever buy.

Good wear-Great Handling

I drive my Porsche daily and wanted a longer wearing tire. This is the best available tire for wear and also fulfills the handling characteristics I find desirable for normal driving. I would love to have an extended wear tire made available in this size for those of us that use this auto as a primary transportation vehicle.

I bought these tires to replace the OEM's on my 2002 Z06. With the OEM's, I was not able to drive faster than 45mph, without hydroplaning, on the interstate, during a rainstorm. After switching to the Pilot Sport PS2's, I was able to drive 70mph, in the same situation, without any hydroplaning. I was completely amazed and will buy them, again, when the current tires need replaced.

I had a set of PS2's on ...

I had a set of PS2's on my '96 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo which has HP increased to 500+. It's a street car that I have tracked at Laguna Seca a couple of time on Michelin Cub tires. I don't drive this car that easy and normally am on twisty roads. My 19" street wheels use 235/35/19 front, and 315/25/19 in the rear. I normally go through 2 sets of rear tires to 1 set of front. I got 17K miles out of the rear tires the last time. I've tried other tire brands on the car in these sizes, and have only gotten around 12K miles out of them. PS2's in these sizes are VERY expensive, but their handling and surprisingly longer wear, make them my choice of tire. My car has 102K miles on it, 70K of which I put on since I brought the car 7 years ago. The think the PS2's are the best performance street tire I've used so. far.

For street use and light ...

For street use and light track days, this is one of the best tires on the market. The PS2s are extremely predictable on braking, turn in and track out. No change in performance even after 30 minute to 60 minute heavy track use. The PS2s do wear more easily on the outer edges. I usually get 2 - 4 track dayss out of a set then the outer edges are separating. For more agressive track days, you may consider moving up to the Pilot Sport Cup tires which will give you much better grip and last much longer on the track and save your PS2s for every day driving. They will last a long time for every day driving with fantastic performance.
