This tire is among the very best I've ever tried! Tread wear and fuel economy were the only areas I did not rate it a 5 but in a performance tire catagory where 2.5 is the standard in these areas, the SP2 is outstanding! My only complaint is that it is not offered in a 33/35/17 or 315/35/17 to fit my Grand Sport Corvette or WS6. By the way, the best tires I've ever had for my Corvettes have been Michelin XGTs when I could still find them to fit. I tried a set from another brand name manufacturer who made impressive claims for their product but in reality they only look high performance and don't walk the walk. My Corvette and I are waiting for Michilens to fit.

There is a good reason why these tires are so expensive.............. BECAUSE THEY'RE WORTH IT!! Until you experience the feel of the Michelin PS2's, the stiffer ride on the cornering, the wet weather traction, the comfort and security of knowing that you performance vehicle is planted on the wet road surface, you have not felt what a performance tire really is. The team at Michelin "are" car guys!

I have Michelin tires on my Corvette and on my pickup truck. I would have them on my motorcycle but Michelin does not make them yet for the model of motorcycle I have. I have been buying Michelin tires since 1966. They wear better than any other tires.

The PS2 ZP's on my 2008 Z06 Corvette are the best tires I have ever driven on bar none in wet or dry. The car handles like its on rails in both the wet and dry conditions. If you are looking to replace your tires on your Corvette these are the ones for you. They are far Superior to the Goodyear Eagle F1's in all the categories, I have had both brands. The PS2 is Superrior in Longevity, Breaking, Handling, Accelerating, and Noise Level for a Run-flat you can't beat these tires.

Put these on my 05 GTO at 20K. What a difference. Felt like I wasted the first two years of owning this car. They're smooth, quiet and SUPER STICKY. I've had them on for 3 years and 20,000 miles. I've never had a Z rated tire wear this well or last this long. I've had over thirty personal and business vehicles since 1976 and every one of them eventually gets Michelins. They cost more.... cause they're worth it. As Always... Thank You Michelin.

These are excllent tires and perform in an oustanding manner in all regards. They wear rather rapidly, but that goes with the performance nature of the tire, so I suppose one has to accept that fact. If performance is not a critical requirement, it would be more cost effective to use a tire more suited to the type of driving one does.

Superb ultra performance tires. Have on a 540hp supercharged and otherwise modified (add'l powertrain,suspension, aftermarket racing brakesC5 Corvette. I've owned numerous high performance and muscle cars, from a 340 Cuda to 911 Porsche, gray market Alpina BMW, 400hp 5.0L Mustang with streetable roadrace suspension and brakes, LS!-powered C3 Corvette and three other Corvettes, and had the various cars equipped with tires from respected American, Italian, and Japanese tire manufacturers and none of these other ultra performance tires have performed as satisfactorily and handled the occasional abuse heaped upon them as the PS2s on the blown C5. I will buys another set of these, or their successors, when this set of PS2s needs replacing.

I was in the automotive business for many years before going to work for the railroad. When any of my customers ask me for advice on tires I always told them there is only one great tire.....Michelin! My father has always rode on Michelin LTX M/S on his Chevrolet trucks. I remember that on a 2001 Chevrolet C1500 he got over 80,000 miles out of a set of Michelins. I am currently running a set of LTX M/S on my Chevrolet Tahoe and a set of Pilot PS2 ZP's on my 2005 Corvette. Anyone reading this review trust me....you cannot find a better tire or safer tire to to use on any vehicle.

I had a set of PS2's on my '96 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo which has HP increased to 500+. It's a street car that I have tracked at Laguna Seca a couple of time on Michelin Cub tires. I don't drive this car that easy and normally am on twisty roads. My 19" street wheels use 235/35/19 front, and 315/25/19 in the rear. I normally go through 2 sets of rear tires to 1 set of front. I got 17K miles out of the rear tires the last time. I've tried other tire brands on the car in these sizes, and have only gotten around 12K miles out of them. PS2's in these sizes are VERY expensive, but their handling and surprisingly longer wear, make them my choice of tire. My car has 102K miles on it, 70K of which I put on since I brought the car 7 years ago. The think the PS2's are the best performance street tire I've used so. far.

These tires are magnificent. The grip, handling and braking is simply fantastic. Not to mention, i'm above 32k miles and just now buying 2 front PS2's. The rear PS2's have a considerable amount of tread left. I think me and the ZR1 will burn those babies off for a little fun and to expedite the purchase of 2 more rears. I do want to try to keep the tread wear as even as i can. I'm sure Michelin will appreciate that....
