The worst ever!!!

It is a pain in the butt to use it! The worst part is that it smokes all my kitchen while working to the point of activating my fire alarms, it is small, you can’t cook tall things and it is difficult to clean. A waist of money and time. I wish I could have my money back!

Customer service

I have owned this product for about 3 months, I really like it. It does a lot of functions very well. However I have 2 problems with it. The light quit working after a few days, it will not turn on with the switch. It does flicker when on the toast setting. The other compliant: This company has terrible customer service When I called about the problem, I was told I had to return the product at my expense for repairs. I will continue to use the product but will have reservations about purchasing any other Ninja products.

Not worth it

This is probably great if you are looking to only air-fry french fries or roast vegetables. The flip up feature is nice, but not enough to warrant any place in the kitchen. 1. Does Not Toast well, just dries the bread out 2. Not Tall enough to grill or roast anything thicker than 1" max. - Plus you must use the drip pan directly under the basket because of the heating elements on bottom and top, not sure how air is supposed to circulate when cooking anything other than toast. 3. Difficult to Clean-The stainless steel basket is difficult to clean by hand, too tall for the dishwasher lower, and top rack does Not remove all the food from the tiny holes. Overall I am extremely disappointed and regret the purchase. Word of advice, think about "what" you want to cook in it before investing in this item.

Just ok I would not buy it again.

I have had this over a year. I don't care much for it, go for a full-size convection toaster over it trust me you will use it more. The knob to change the settings is hard to get it to scan through the different settings and it's seriously not good for anything other than muffins, rolls, hot wings, small pizzas anything that is not very tall in size plus so close to the top element watch it or edges burn. I don't recommend this unit, unless that's all you want to cook is snacks and finger foods.

Ninja Foodi 9-in-1

I love this and have used it at least once a day for two weeks solid, though usually two and even three times a day. It does not get smokey, and because it’s all metal there’s no burning or hot plastic smell. It cooks food evenly and quickly from fresh or frozen. The multiple methods for cooking has made me nearly abandon my stove altogether. The only downside is the solid black pan is a lot harder to clean than I would have thought. It’s not textured, but if you cook with a spray like Pam (as suggested to prevent sticking) it leaves a residue that’s really hard to get off the solid black pan, even with soaking it overnight. Other than that, it’s very easy to clean and a great addition to the kitchen.

overpriced

I started my air fryer journey with Cuisinart. I am in the market for a new one b/c I’m giving my daughter my old one. This Foodie air fryer costs as much as the Cuisinart and does not cook like it should. The oven area is tiny! Either it doesn’t cook all the way or if I turn up the heat it burns. I am not one to babysit food in a toasted oven. I don’t recommend this one at all. Don’t be deceived by the pictures on the box! 0/10. I returned it!

Verified Purchase

Received damaged

Unit had small dent in top but concerning was the BULGE in the top over the ‘cooking element’.. Shipping container had no visible damage. Can’t comment about unit performance since it was not used due to the BULGE in the top, over the ‘cooking element’’.

Ninja Foodi Flip

Love this machine... love that it flips up and takes nice space when it's cool, it bakes small things which is great, it does toast perfectly. Making chicken wings is great, they're nice and crispy, NOT soggy, yuck... We reheat anything we don't want soggy such as Pizza and that sort of thing. I've had mine for almost 2 years and use it almost every day...

Mmmm… The stench of Grease!

I really had high hopes for this air fryer but every time we use it the thing stinks the house up like grease. The house smells for days after also, it smells so bad my airpurifier senses it and kicks on high. This thing will make everything in your house smell bad too. You’ll go places and people will look at you oddly because you reek.

Hi dear customer, Thank you for sharing your experience with the Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven. We’re sorry to hear that you're experiencing a strong lingering smell when using it. While air fryers do produce some odor due to high-heat cooking, it shouldn't persist for days. We recommend ensuring proper ventilation when using the unit and running it at 400°F for 20-30 minutes without food to help burn off any residual manufacturing coatings that may be causing the odor. Cleaning the interior, crisper tray, and grease pan regularly can also help minimize lingering smells. If the issue continues, we’d love to assist further. Please reach out to us at 1-800-365-0135, and our team will be happy to help. Kind regards, Ninja Kitchen

very small

very small cooking area, toast setting does not work very well, bought the unit to air fry chicken wings only able to cook 10 wings at a time, and wire mesh very hard to clean, used the unit for about a month or 2 and it went into the trash what a waste of $$$
