Inside burns and it's hard to clean

Cooksville on bacon air fryer, haven't tried many of those options. The interior gets burnt so easily, and it's so difficult to clean. I used air fryer sheets.

Not for Me

I use our normal air fryer almost daily with the kids. This just isn't tall enough for food and doesn't quite air fry like I want it to. You have to be cooking something rather flat like fish fillets. Also really easy to get messy inside with food and fingerprints outside. Total waste of money. Doesn't save me time.

Warning...Label letters started fading off.

The control panel lettering is all fading away on my FT102A 9-in-1 Air Fry Oven! First the "Start" and the "Pause" (which are > 95% gone now), then the "Bagel", "Toast" (>80% gone), the "Bake" has lost >10%, "Reheat" has started coming off, and "Crisp Control" at the top have started to come off. I got this oven mainly for the toaster feature to heat/toast 8" tortillas (not stuffed, just the wrap). I also use it regularly for bagels or toast. I've used it 2-4 times for pizza, 1/2 dozen time to reheat cookies and 6-12 times to air fry waffle fries. And, I cooked wings once when I first got it as a test to compare against doing them in my range's convection oven. That's it, not much greasy cooking at all. And, since the only greasy/oily items were the couple of pizzas, wings once, and reheating cooking, I've only had to clean the outside with water and a little Dawn. The inside has generally only need vacuuming for crumbs. Wings/Pizza did result in a buildup near the exhaust vent on both the main unit and the bottom door (both of which are very hard to get the grease off off with soap and water). Also, the white ends of the heating units on the top of the inside will get discolored from any heater oil/grease and you can't clean them. So, other than missing letters (now words), grease wear near the exhaust fan on the inside of the unit and orangish-brown on the ends of the top heating elements, my unit still looks good. I just don't what some of the Crisp Control settings are anymore and soon, if I keep using it, I won't know what any of the 9 settings are. I talked with Ninja on the phone, twice, and their answer is to send out a replacement unit, if in warranty, but they said the lettering on the replacement unit is done the same way. To me, that means that with the same light use, the letters will be coming off in 6-12 months and you won't be able to get another replacement for the replacement. I'm returning it and won't replace it with the same or any Ninja model that has raised lettering like this one. I've searched online and people are having the fading lettering issue not only on this model but on other Ninja models as well. If anyone else is having fading lettering problems with the unit or similar Ninja units, please update your review and consider getting it replaced by Ninja within the warranty but, remember, the replacement is the same panel design. I really like the fold-up to the wall capability and the toasting quality (it really will toast nine slice of bread pretty evenly on both sides). It did a fair job on pizza but cooking the pizza in my range convection oven was better and required no clean-up. It did a good job on air frying waffle fries. But, I can do all of that in my range oven (except the toast) albeit the range uses more energy when more energy is not needed. But if I cannot read the the labels on the control panel because some are gone, others are fading away, and the rest will eventually fade away, this FT102A 9-in-1 Air Fry Oven is worthless.

returned did not like

I bought this in hopes of combining an oven ,air fryer and toaster. I’ve never tried the toaster part but as far as the oven I tried 2 frozen pizzas and both times cooked the outside to much and not the inside not enough. The air fryer basket is way too close to the top and it burnt chicken patties around the edges in a short amount of time and made them very dry. I will stick with my regular air fryer for now.

Great for things NOT Tall!

Firstly, I DO love it - but - BUT! It's legit heartbreaking that you have to be careful to not cook anything too tall. The oven/fryer is great for pizza and fishsticks, but if try to put in a casserole in a shallow dish, but anything sticks up over the top of the dish, you're going to bump into the top of the oven. I like to pile chicken/veg/cheese in a small dish, but have to smoosh it down. My favorite treat is to make open face tuna melts- annnd you have to make them hordourve(sp?) size, because you'll bump the top, knock off the cheese, smear tuna/mayo. Frustrating. Personal pasta bowls rated oven safe barely fit height wise. If it were just three inches taller, it could have ruled the world. All that said- it takes up the aprx space of a pizza box when lying down, it heats up lightening fast, it's incredibly easy to use, - I just honestly wish I could toast the top of a casserole in it.

not so good

Loved this product for the first 3 months. Works great. Problem is, this thing vents out the back. So after using a while, and moving the appliance to clean counters, the back splash behind this was covered in a brown film. Kinda looked like nicotine. Hard to clean off, especially on the grout. For this reason I would not recommend.

Not worth the cleaning you have to do

It cooks fine and quickly. That much is true. But there is a glaring design problem with this: Anything that splatters while cooking (like any meat whatsoever) will leak out the back when you flip it up. So you are forced to do a thorough cleaning of the inside of the unit every time you use it. For me the space saving gimmick just isn't worth the extra time and effort needed to clean it every time.

Great product

I’ve been wanting this air fryer for a long time but would never splurge on the purchase for myself. But recently I gave in and ordered it from Sam’s. I love, love, love it!! I recommend to anyone trying to make the same decision. I would really be grateful if Sam’s would honor the current discount for me, since I am loyal, seasoned customer.

Clear offed my counter!

Only had it a week, but so far it is awesome! I was able to get ride of the air fryer, dehydrator, and toaster. Not all those were in the counter top, but with the toaster gone (its not too much bigger space wise) I now have more room for prep work. Plus it cooks a frozen pizza about 5 minutes faster than instructed. So far, I've only made cheese stix, pizza and hot ham and cheese, but its super fast, easy to clean up and loving the counter space! To top it off...teenager approved!
