Doesn't last

I purchase this one years back, within the first year it started falling apart. Screws pop off the panels, you just cant screw them in again because its plastic. I contacted Lifetime and they wanted to send me replacement pieces. Basically I'd have to take the shed apart to change out panels. Didn't want that cuz its huge pain to put together. If I could, I'd give mine away. Move on to a real shed.

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your shed. As long as the shed was assembled correctly you shouldn't have any issues with screws popping out. Please email pictures to us at reviews@lifetime.com so we can see how we can help.

Shed is good

Shed is nice and good quality. Directions are terrible. Pretty sure there were missing parts bc I had to make my way to home depot for screws

Storage shed for water well

I bought this a month ago and am very happy with it. It houses an irrigation water well, pump, water pressure tank, and assorted tools. I have had electrical work done inside the shed including a new panel, light over the pump with light switch by the door, electrical outlet for tools, and control for the pump on/off at setpoints.

Awesome Lifetime Shed

Just finished building this shed and I'm very impressed. I installed it over a raised deck style platform with concrete footings. Laid sheets of plywood over 2x6 joists. Shed went up with little trouble, but it took a long time. I would say plan to spend 1-2 days on your foundation and another 2 days on your shed install. Very happy and am looking into buying more tool hooks!

A Beautiful end to a very frustrating process

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We built this shed from over two weekends. Could of been one but the instructions were not clear , as well the metal braces were not marked(could of put stickers on the metal pcs to match to instructions) so took hours sorting and understanding what went with what. Screw packages had no identification matching instructional booklet as well. It definately takes 2 people and a third was great help. Read manual 10 times before starting and go slowly through the process of construction ...do not skip one sentence. (caused us considerable delay when obvious route was incorrect) Do not use power screw driver unless instructed -as will strip plastic (wife counted 1013 screws). The shed was built on wooden deck of plywood newly constructed--MUST BE LEVEL PLATFORM -(so was easy to slide back and forth especially when putting in doors ).ONLY ATTACH FLOOR TO SUPPORT PLATFORM AT THE VERY END. Happy to have purchased but it was 3 1/2 days of frustration -patience is a must in the assembly process and co workers must follow instructions . Screw and nuts in channels must be put in as in manual or roof sections will not slide in. The support bar in center support (manual not clear ) is attached to non obvious holes . (this was a delay point and here you do need 3 people for assembly 2 to hold and one to attach the screw and nut. The attachment of the roof sections must line up with the points of attachment of the metal braces. take your time gently press down and line up.Definately a two person procedure. Door assembly is a little complicated in attaching to the triangle part above door. The right side (facing shed) does not seem to get solid until a further few steps so either held or clamped .Use rubber mallet to gently tap the triangle on to door metal rods . Again I cannot stress the importance of going slowly and following the manual and call customer service help. in long run saves time. donot guess your procedure. You can not skip or reorder the process even though another route seems logical. Should of taken photos of process . Excellent product once assembled. waiting for first rain to see if it leaks.

Great shed but instructions need some work

Bought this shed a week ago. Took me 4 days to complete because it was hot during the day and rained at night. Did it by myself with the exception of the doors and door gable connection. Most of the instructions were good but there were a couple of spots where it didn't make sense. There is an app called “BILT” where you can go and see a 3D version of your product and see the instruction better that way. Unfortunately for me I purchased the 12.5x8 foot shed (model 60223) and it wasn't on there so I had to look at the 10x8 foot one to help me out. Overall going back and forth wasn't the easiest thing to do but it worked. Im pleased with the shed but like I said the instructions need a little work in some areas of explanation.

Great 12.5' x 8' shed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took a while to receive do to shipping company error and damage. Replacement parts took a while to receive. Even after preassembling as much as possible, assembly was about 12 hours with 2 people. Make sure the truss fasteners are installed as shown (head of fastener from inside the channel with the nut on the outside of the channel). All and all this is a great sturdy nice looking shed.
