[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tasting this wine had a lovely dark fruit aroma you get the taste of a berry and plum flavor. I truly enjoyed this. Red wines are my favorite and I have to say that Mondavi red wines does it perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought the rum barrel aged merlot was very easy to drink besides the fact it was ages inside a liquor barrel. Similar dark ruby color and you can tell there has been some deep flavors brewing when barrel aged. Overall I really enjoyed drinking this wine. Would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first time trying Robert Mondavi Private Selection Rum Barrel-Aged Merlot . I found the color a nice deep red with a nice fruit aroma. The flavor was smooth, a bit tart yet with a sweet finish. I paired this wine with Aged Gouda, Asiago as well as Salami, Pepperoni and Rosemary Olive Oil Crackers. I will surely be adding this wine to my personal collection to serve at brunch and get togethers. I highly recommend this wine.

But oh so tasty with green grapes. We voted and all 3 of us gave a 5*****. Poured over crushed ice, sipping between eating a grape was fun for our taste buds.

Plum and blueberry notes were quite forward. The sweetness of the aftertaste was gorgeous. A lot of the spices stayed with me too which made this a very cozy drink.

It paired nicely with the tomato pasta sauce I made, and it did well in balancing the fruity blueberry and plum with the notes of coconut and molasses. I'll definitely have to buy it for the next time my mother visits!
