Teach kids to peel like a chimp, pinch the bottom. I prefer fresh not green bananas for a number of uses: with cereal, in a peanut butter and jelly, in a smoothie, purèd in pancakes and waffles, and banana pudding, but I prefer the real ripe ones for banana bread.

It was horrible and we couldn't eat them. They gave us the worst bunch of bananas. I just picked up the order and had to throw them straight from the bag to the trash. They never should have been on the shelf let alone picked for a customer. You should be ashamed.

Well, there are bananas. They tasted like a banana. They're good they're organic. They lasted before turning brown a lot longer than the regular bananas. Not sure if that was because they're organic or not but I'll buy them again because of that you can only make so much banana bread, right

The flavor and size of my bananas was excellent! My issue is with the personal shoppers. So many of them put fruits and bread in a bag with a large watermelon. My bananas were ruined. It was would be so nice also if the shoppers can look closely at the fruit and make sure there is no mold on them, and put them in the small plastic bags in case they leak

These are always my go to fruit! I love them %26 they're healthy for you also! The reason for only 4 stars, is because sometimes they're are a couple that are ripened too fast, however overall, I think Wal-Mart sells great bananas! I know because I buy them all the time!

These bananas were delivered to my home, and they were at the perfect stage of yellow and (with a small amount of) green, so that they didn't ripen and rot on the first day. It's always wise to remember the instructive Chiquita Banana Song for determining the perfect level of ripeness: 🎶 “When they are flecked with brown and have a golden hue, bananas taste the best, and are the best for you!” 🎶

One bunch of bananas is perfect amount and since they are organic I feel safe being able to also use the skins. My purchases have always been ready to eat ripeness and were not bruised..

I have purchased organic bananas from Walmart a few times and every time they never get ripe, even after two weeks they are hard as a rock and bitter.

These can be hit or miss. Sometimes they have great flavor and last a long time, other times they brown easily and bring a crap ton of fruit flies into the home.
