Mushy bananas

The bananas were overripe and mushy. They had so many brown spots that I wouldn’t even use them for banana bread. I threw them out. We like greenish, firm bananas, and have always gotten this kind when I’ve bought or ordered bananas from Walmart. It would be helpful to allow customers to make a comment about the food they’re ordering in addition to asking what substitute they’d like for particular items.

I think the biggest complaint that people have about bananas being shipped from the store is the quality of them. That is not the case here. I always get great bananas in the whole bunch, and I almost always use them i think the biggest complaint that people have about bananas being shipped from the store is the quality of them. That is not the case here. I always get great bananas in the whole bunch. I primarily freeze them and use them in smoothies and boy are they great. You somehow you like, but you'll be happy.

Pick better produce

I love Walmart produce, however I only feel safe ordering bananas. It seems like whoever does. The in-store shopping does not look at the produce when they selected or they select the worst one they can possibly find. Thus far the bananas have all come and they’ve been OK. Only once we got bananas that were not pleasant to look at. I would love it if Walmart would take the same consideration with all the other produce, and then we can order all of our fruits online.

Fungus on banana

We’ve been getting the organic bananas for quite some time. Lately they are abnormally large, which makes me think they are genetically modified. Now our order from yesterday came in and has green spots all over it. Tonight I realized there is a white fungus on the outer peel of the bananas. I am really disappointed in the quality.

Organic Banana's

I've never tried anything organic before so when my original banana's were sold out the organic banana's were the only one's left. Now I will ONLY buy them, they stay fresh without turning black for close to a week. Now willing to try other organic foods.🙂

Try to get green bananas they last so much longer

Good banana, bananas, healthy bananas, and I seem to get bananas that are a little green and that’s what I prefer. I even put that on my order because bananas goes bad so fast anymore. If you get them a little green, they last so much longer. I recommend these.

Too brown

I don’t know why I keep purchasing these organic bananas. These are horrible. I don’t like them ripe. I like them still yellow a little green. Firm. It’s the Walmart workers that bag my groceries . Can’t blame the driver. This is ridiculous. Definitely never again… rwwww🧐🤢🤮. I don’t recommend unless you are making banana bread.

These Emotionally Damaged Bananas

Bruised and battered more than me after a workout, these bananas showed up looking like they’ve already lived three separate lives and failed all of them. Usually I get decent ones, but this bunch? This bunch has seen things. They look like they’ve been through a bar fight, a breakup, and a biblical plague before they ever made it to my counter. They’re so spotted they could pass for a cheetah in witness protection. Honestly, they didn’t ripen , they gave up. If trauma were a fruit, this would be the poster child. I picked them up and I swear one of them whispered, “Just… end it.” The sticker says “ORGANIC,” but baby, these are organically tired. Harvested during Mercury retrograde, transported through spiritual warfare, and delivered straight to me like a cry for help. I’ve seen sturdier spines on overcooked spaghetti. Even the chocolate syrup in the background is judging them. My wristbands are doing more emotional support work than the produce aisle ever intended. These bananas are one peel away from filing a workers’ comp claim. Zero out of ten, do not recommend unless you’re specifically shopping for fruit with unresolved trauma and a story to tell.

Is there a taste difference....

Bananas are a weekly staple in our home and have been for 22 years now. While I only eat frozen bananas in my smoothies, my family also eats them fresh. My son-in-law was raised on conventional food, and when he married my daughter, he did not know about organic food but only will eat organic bananas now. He says he notices a taste difference between organic vs conventional. We sometimes but not always notice a difference but always can and has tried to convince his family to switch to organic.

Worth getting organic

I have not been disappointed with the quality I get with organic bananas I buy a bunch to share with my grandkids they love fruit and because they are organic they taste great I usually have them delivered and they are still a bit green but I like that because I know they last longer and the little plastic thing they wrap on the tip helps a lot so they don’t get too ripe too soon
