This batch was ok but the batch before is what i need to address. I have never been so disgusted! All of the bananas were rotten; no reason should they have been sold at all and whoever placed them in my cart is just as rotten as the bananas was. And after all that I still gave you another try!

Pretty good

Some good, some not so good bought a few of these organic bundles and as with all produce lately some are fresh and good and some not so fresh. Produce especially delivered is a real crap shoot recently, but these have been on the higher end of good hence the 4 stars.

Fungus on banana

We’ve been getting the organic bananas for quite some time. Lately they are abnormally large, which makes me think they are genetically modified. Now our order from yesterday came in and has green spots all over it. Tonight I realized there is a white fungus on the outer peel of the bananas. I am really disappointed in the quality.

Dissatisfied customer

These bananas were the smallest I’ve ever seen ! The bunch fit in my hand. Idk why the produce size for pick up is always the smallest or worse, almost ripe or rotten ever time I get it And what an inconvenience because I needed them for a recipe so after all that I still had to go back in the store for more bananas . I was very disappointed, So better 🙏🏻

Poor quality delivered

I ordered 2 batches of organic bananas. They arrived with too many brown spots to count! My 2nd batch had a very stinky and sticky residue on the bottom! I had to rinse them with hot water! Never experienced this with bananas. 1st and last time ordering bananas! Best to go pick them yourself! Why even deliver them to customers this way! They must be eaten quickly due to them being delivered already yellow and brown. Please do better Walmart!

Terrible bananas

Terrible! These organic bananas were substituted for regular bananas. They barely tasted like a banana. I ate one and threw the rest away. I’m getting fed up with Walmart produce being low quality. Why can’t they sell Dole bananas or another name brand bananas?

Bananas weren't what I would have chosen

The bananas were huge. More like plantains. I think bananas are something I should chose for myself rather than online for someone else to chose I am including a photo of the Walmart bananas I bought on Monday on the right (and the sticker says "good for baking', and the bananas I bought elsewhere today.

Bananas: The Overachiever of the Fruit Bowl

Let’s talk about bananas. The only fruit that comes with its own biodegradable jacket and still manages to be dramatic about it. Too green? Inedible weapon. Too brown? Suddenly it’s “banana bread energy.” There is no in-between. Texture? Bold. Flavor? Mild but confident. Bananas don’t scream for attention — they just sit there curving elegantly like they know they’re essential. Smoothies? Needed. Pancakes? Elevated. Gym bros? Emotionally dependent. And can we appreciate the convenience? No slicing required. No juice explosion. No tiny seeds judging you. Just peel and proceed. It’s the introvert of fruits — low effort, high reward. Docked one star because the ripening window lasts approximately 17 minutes. Blink and now you’re baking. Overall verdict: Reliable. Nutritious. Slightly dramatic. Would absolutely recommend. 🍌

not happy

lately the bananas have been bruised and in some cases split. I'm convinced Walmart is cutting cost by ordering from the bottom of the barrel. when I order one bunch I get about 6 bananas, when I order two bunches I get two bunches of 3 bananas. I don't appreciate one bunch being split in half and being called two bunches. it's ridiculous.

Need a way to request ripeness!

Walmart, you need some sort of way to indicate what degree of ripeness is requested on perishable fruit. I am sick to death of buying bananas and getting them already speckled with brown spots and turning brown the next day. I buy mine with more green showing and wrap stems to help control ripening. My bananas today were actually greenish! Yay! However I have been receiving them where they are okay that day only or already speckled and brown. I use these for making breads, etc. I do NOT enjoy eating them. I have a freezer full of overripe bananas and have been throwing them away. I know many people like this, but I also know many others do not. I very much hesitate to buy produce at Walmart. I just threw away a trashcan full of produce only a week or so old from the produce drawer because it didn't come in in good shape to start with. This includes packaged goods. I have received greenish bananas only 2 times in the last five months. I didn't have this problem when I shopped and chose my own, but I can no longer do that most of the time.
