[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a new pizza pan from Walmart that I had not yet tried. When I received this jar of Yo Mama Marinara, the timing was perfect. I used the marinara on my homemade pizza and it was so delicious! Much better than the plain pizza sauce I had previously made. I will never use another sauce when I make my pizzas!

I'm on a low sodium diet so I have been trying new foods lately and came across this. I know, everyone has their own idea of what makes for a good spaghetti sauce. I can tell you from personal experience about this sauce...bleh. DIdn't even use the whole jar. My search continues on.

Definitely exceeded our expectations. Due to hubby's high BP we have been looking at foods less processed and/or lower in sodium, and this product met the mail (marinara is one of the worst sodium offenders!). It definitely tastes a bit different than your normal off the shelf sauces, but you can tell there is less sugar, salt, and processed crap. It tastes "real" compared to the rest. We already ordered 4 more jars. Yum!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OK so I have made my own marinara sauce for years, I cannot remember when I purchased any store-bought. The larger half of my family is Italian so I grew up eating Italian. I am pretty critical and though I love my own sauce, just about anyone else in my family makes sauce even better. Don't dare tell anyone I have store-bought gnocchi to try this sauce out with. Gnocchi is an Italian potato and wheat dumpling. Fairly easy to make, even easier to buy! So it was all store-bought tonight! I must be getting old, even used paper plates, please excuse the photo! I just tried this particular Yo Mama brand of marinara, poured it into a pot, and I was surprised, well it was thicker than I remembered most store-bought sauce. You could actually see the onions and maybe some peppers; that's a good sign. I just tasted some before it was totally heated, actually really good. I normally do not like store-bought anything, not too many prepackaged foods for me except cereal, ice cream, once or twice a year some fried shrimp. So is the fact that this sauce has no artificial anything, is made from all fresh ingredients, no preservatives, and no sugar added it caught my attention. It is also gluten and dairy-free. Now I always put just a little bit of sugar in my sauce to cut the acidity of the tomatoes. Not much, in fact I feed the hummingbirds 95% of the small bag of sugar I buy once a year. You can taste the difference but that is easily remedied by putting in just half a teaspoon of sugar while warming it up and stirring well. It's good either way, I just like to cut the acidy taste from the tomatoes. I'd recommend that you give this a try unless you are making your own sauce. This is an easy good meal to serve on whole wheat pasta or potato basil gnocchi, or whatever you like the best. Would be great for camping!

If you are someone who cares about quality, then this brand is the one for you! Theyre products are not only full of flavor, but also incredibly healthy. I have used their products for chicken, marinara, pasta, meat balls, etc and none have disappointed me! The best part is that their products are wholesome and non-GMO with no added sugar, which for me is VERY important!This brand has made my Keto / Low carb life so much better. I use them for so many different recipes and creations. My daughter is on a low sodium diet because of kidney disease. We have struggled to find a marinara sauce that doesn't have tons of salt in it. We finally discovered Yo Mama's. It is delicious and lower in sodium than all of the other marinara sauces that we have looked into! And it still tastes good - our whole family loves it! Thank you!

The first delivery we received had been damaged during shipping, but Yo Mamas promptly shipped a replacement. The second shipment had improved packaging and made it to us unscathed. We are glad it did because this is excellent sauce! It is delicious and we can really taste the freshness. It is also Keto-friendly, which makes it the perfect sauce for us. We will be ordering more soon.

This marinara sauce is simply fantastic. I feel ashamed of myself for buying generic sauces at the grocery store in the past. The difference between those store bought sauces and Yo Mama's marinara sauce is like night and day. The freshness is eye opening and the taste is just superb. I've been planning my dinners around marinara sauce just so I can consume more of this. I've also contemplated how much marinara sauce I would need to consume to cover my daily need of vegetables so that I could focus on the essentials of my (updated) food pyramid - Meat, Cheese, Carbs (breads/pasta), chocolate, and marinara.All in all, the Grandma who invented this recipe deserves a medal.
