I am just getting my appetite back after getting sick on Christmas vacation. I decided to make chicken meatball parm with my new bottle of Yo Mama’s Original Marina Sauce. I am so glad I did! The sauce has a medium thick consistency and an awesome flavor! The spices are on point with the onion and garlic. I love there is no added sugar and it has a low carb count since I am doing Keto. (The pic with garlic bread is my hubby’s plate) This sauce will be a regular staple in my cabinet!

I was kind of hesitant to try this sauce, because I’ve always brought a different kind, but this sauce is absolutely delicious!! I have tried it on different pasta, and the kids have loved it every time!! It goes a long way too, so great savings!!

We were excited about this Marinara Pasta Sauce that truly does taste fresh and homemade. We tried it with some store made ravioli. The juicy California-grown tomatoes taste like they were picked the day before they became a sauce. It did not have the oily taste that most of the similar sauces seem to have. It was light and refreshing, and an added benefit is that it is GMO Free, Vegan, Keto, Gluten Free, Low Carb, Sugar Free, and a great tasting Low Sodium pasta sauce. We will be buying more of these the next time we go to Sam’s Club for sure!

I have had other Yo Mama products in the past and have very impressed. This pasta sauce did not disappoint! The flavor was rich and full and the texture was not overly processed, but also not so chunky that you felt you were eating a jar of canned tomatoes! The sauce can definitely stand on its own, or can be jazzed up with some fresh basil or whatever fresh herbs you have on hand.

Cooked this up for the family with our favorite gluten free spaghetti noodles and oh my what a hit!! With only 5 grams of carbs in each serving it fits perfectly into our low carb lifestyle! I feel great feeding it to the kids since it was low sodium and low sugar also! Tastes great and is a healthy option too!

I cooked chicken and pasta with Yo Mama sauce for my family’s dinner tonight and they loved it! It had a nice aromatic flavor, sweet with a little kick! This will become a family favorite meal for us!

This is a really good sauce! We eat very clean in my home and this is all WHOLE NATURAL ingredients. It has a great flavor. It is slightly acidic, probably because there is NO SUGAR. It’s hard to find a product with no sugar these days. It’s got a real good consistency, not too watery. Overall extremely yummy. It’s a hit with the family too! Will definitely be buying this again!!

The package says 3 jars, but I only received 1 which I’m okay with. The sauce is very bland to me. I used it on top to of a chicken breast that had already been seasoned; otherwise it would have been very bland. I could detect the black pepper but that’s it. I would not buy this unless I had no other choice.

Let me start by saying I had high hopes for this sauce. It smelled amazing when I unpackaged it. I love the ingredient list as well. Very simple, clean, organic. Also, I never use a jarred sauce as is, I always spice it up a bit and fully anticipated needing to do that with this sauce too. So, I sautéed my onions and garlic, browned some ground beef, and cracked open the bottle of Yo Mama’s sauce. I took a big sniff of the bottle, and… nothing. I got no smell other than tomatoes. And not juicy, fresh from the vine tomato, more middle of winter, barely flavored tomato. I took my spoon and tasted the sauce direct from the jar, and again, all I got was the barest hint of tomato and a whole lot of acid. I added it to the beef anyway and dug in to my spice drawer. I added all my standby’s and still, it never quite raised it to the level I was hoping. I considered adding some tomato paste, but I didn’t want to drive up the acid any more - I already added some shredded carrots to provide title sweet to foil the acidity of the sauce. In the end, I decided to use the sauce in a “French Bread Lasagna”. Sliced a French bread loaf, topped it with some sauce, added some cheese, and baked it off. It was good, but not great. Sadly, I don’t think I will be purchasing this sauce in the future.

We love this sauce, it has a great, light flavor. However, twice now, its arrived with the jars broken and leaking sauce. Its stinky and attracts bugs.
