I cook most everything from scratch and thought this might be a good product. There was nothing wrong with the product other than tasting bland -had to add a lot of ingredients to make it taste really good which I could have done with a couple of cans of tomatoes for much less money. It was a decent product however if you don't need much spice or flavor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OK so I have made my own marinara sauce for years, I cannot remember when I purchased any store-bought. The larger half of my family is Italian so I grew up eating Italian. I am pretty critical and though I love my own sauce, just about anyone else in my family makes sauce even better. Don't dare tell anyone I have store-bought gnocchi to try this sauce out with. Gnocchi is an Italian potato and wheat dumpling. Fairly easy to make, even easier to buy! So it was all store-bought tonight! I must be getting old, even used paper plates, please excuse the photo! I just tried this particular Yo Mama brand of marinara, poured it into a pot, and I was surprised, well it was thicker than I remembered most store-bought sauce. You could actually see the onions and maybe some peppers; that's a good sign. I just tasted some before it was totally heated, actually really good. I normally do not like store-bought anything, not too many prepackaged foods for me except cereal, ice cream, once or twice a year some fried shrimp. So is the fact that this sauce has no artificial anything, is made from all fresh ingredients, no preservatives, and no sugar added it caught my attention. It is also gluten and dairy-free. Now I always put just a little bit of sugar in my sauce to cut the acidity of the tomatoes. Not much, in fact I feed the hummingbirds 95% of the small bag of sugar I buy once a year. You can taste the difference but that is easily remedied by putting in just half a teaspoon of sugar while warming it up and stirring well. It's good either way, I just like to cut the acidy taste from the tomatoes. I'd recommend that you give this a try unless you are making your own sauce. This is an easy good meal to serve on whole wheat pasta or potato basil gnocchi, or whatever you like the best. Would be great for camping!

This is amazing sauce, and it is free of added sugars. I love the list of ingredients. They packed the four I ordered in individual bubblewrap and thenwrapped them well in paper also. I tested this sauce with my son the foodie, and we both agree it is very good. I cut up some onion and garlic and fresh white mushrooms, sauteed them and some fatfree ground turkey in a flash and put the sauce in. Very good, very filling meal, and my son the RN tells me it was quite a healthy meal as well as a tasty one. I intend to try it on a marinara dough I make with fatfree greek yogurt and self rising flour next, for a much healthier version of marinara. So, so glad I found this sauce. As my son said, this can bring back our family's pasta nights. :)

Good alternative for a low carb marinara with a hint of spice in the marinara to add a little kick to any dish. I simply paired this sauce with meatballs and melted mozzarella and it was delicious as is. I had ordered as a pack of 4 and understandably through shipping, one of the bottles arrived with the lid loose and the contents was spilt inside. As noted from the company, if there was any problems with the order to contact them, which I did through their email support. They answered with a very prompt and professional reply, shipped a brand new bottle to replace the one and it arrived in perfect condition in extra care packaging. Thank you very much! I never leave negative reviews about food items. People have different tastes. I read a lot of great reviews so I decided to try it. It was okay, but I have definitely had better. Again it's simply a matter pf different tastes. The bottles were well packages and arrived on time.

I bought a jar of the original marinara sauce to try because I was making dinner for my mother in law who is on a low salt diet. Yo Mama's original sauce was the lowest salt sauce I could find and I wasn't sure how it would taste, well we tried it yesterday when I made chicken Parmesan everyone loved it! I will differently be buying more and recommending it to friends. Thank you for making such a delicious low salt sauce.

This wonderful sauce is great on all kinds of pasta but versatile enough to enhance anything on the menu. Make boring or flavorless foods fantastic by putting some of the sauce on anything that sounds like a great combo.Dip your marinara slice in the sauce! My whole family loves your marinara sauce. My daughter and I do not eat any sugar product and we so happy when we came upon the sugar-free sauce. The sugar-eater in the family commented that they really liked the sauce (we are usually Ragu to of people).. They said the sauce tasted fresher and more authentic. We will be regular customers.

Double the price of most sauces and not as good, if you want to try an amazing jarred sauce try the Mezzetta marinara. it is amazing, I am stuck inside and I am the cook but sometimes I like to add a jar of sauce to my homemade and since the stores were all out I started to try them all. and if you ever wanted to taste a sauce that is not overwhelmingly strong and tastes like fresh tomatoes and delicious try the Mezetta. 3.20 a jar. you will have a new favorite

I've been doing a Keto Diet for a while. I have a problem eating cooked tomatoes when they are chunky they just gross me out it's just my taste buds I guess. But this Marinara is soooo delicious. Even my non Keto family is loving it. It tastes so fresh and home made. Dare I say better then homemade. I could eat it right out of the jar. This will definitely be a regular in my house.
