I love eating rice. So it was necessary to purchase this in bulk. It tends to be very salty if not cooked properly but I prefer this type of rice for a large gleaning because it seems to last.

Par Excellence rice is not sold at many places, however I found it at Sam’s at a lower price than competitors. It’s a delicious rice as well paired with mostly everything.

We bought this rice on our last visit to Sam's. We often eat rice with chicken, fish and even tacos. The price and the large container caught our eye. We typically buy the Vigo brand from the grocery store. We have also tried many other brands. This brand far exceeds all the others not only in flavor but also in texture. It smells very nice as it cooks. The result is fluffy well seasoned rice without feeling like it has too much salt. We also like that we can make a small amount for two people. We will continue to purchase this rice.
