I agree some can be fatty, but you just have to look at what you are buying . I usually quarter mine, rub and smoke it like a brisket. Then slice it and serve like a brisket. Incredible.

The piece was very large and as a result it had portions where the thickness was about 1/2 as thick. This made for uneven cooking when cooking Chinese style

This was my first time purchasing pork belly, and it seemed well-trimmed and fresh. I put it in the smoker for a few hours, and the result was very delicious. I made some thick cut BLT sandwiches, and also cubed it for salads and pasta. It has lasted for several days now.

The pork belly very fresh and of very high-quality. I was just so pleased to find it in the store! It is cut into a a mammals size and shape that can easily be fabricated into the size needed to cook it at home. Even though the may price seems high, it is actually a great value when you consider that you would pay the same price for about 1/10 of the amount in a restaurant. I hope Sam’s continues to carry this product!!

I have bought pork belly from e different Sam's clubs. The Lubbock location had the lowest grade in my opinion. Albuquerque, west location, had the mid-grade. Amarillo, old store, had the highest level of belly. This is the third time I've done any smoking for bacon. I had ok reviews so far. I am expecting equal to 4 or 5 stars on this batch.

Good product and glad to see my club has this product. Taste is a bacon flavor that you can season as you like. This product can be used in countless recipes and ways. Smoke and cure also to create your own signature bacon. Cube or dice for use in many dishes.
