I have nothing but good things to say about this product. The wear has been even, I have rotated the tires as recommended, but never had to balance them. I use my truck for a variety of hauling that require excellence in performance and safety. Whether it's a gooseneck trailer over loaded or hauling expensive cars across the USA, I have put these tires to the test and have found excellent results. The tire I use of my GMC 2500 HD is the 285/75/R16E LTX A/T2. I have over 130000 miles on this set. They are rated for 60000. The cost is the only challenge I have for this tire. My peace of mind however removes most of my negatives.

Bought these 7 years ago for my 2004 SIlverado HD. Great on snow, off-road and highway, although dry rot has forced me to replace them after seven years which started a couple of years ago. May be the Denver altitude and/or dry heat, disaapointed that I have to replace a tire that has over half its tread life left due to age.

Bought Michelins to replace OEM brand (2 sets) that only lasted about 30k each on our 2002 Ford Ranger Tremor. I spent the extra money because of the advertised 70k guarantee. I keep the air pressure set and rotate every 6k as requested and do not drive aggressive. It is almost time to replace the Michelins. 5/32's left at 51k miles. The prior 2 sets were so noisy I thought the front wheel bearings were shot. I thought I was driving a different truck after installing the Michelins as the noise was gone. My wife really noticed the difference as this is her daily transportation. I will be buying another set of Michelins in the coming weeks.

I've been driving Ford E250's since 1990. After wearing out the factory installed tires at 40,000 Km. I put on new Michelin LT235/85R16 (120/116R). I have Michelin on all my trucks and cars.These tires have stood the test of time, through heavy loads and heavy towing, winter and summer. Vehicles handle incredible. Now at 400 000 km on my 2009 E250 the tires need replacing. After requesting the LT235/85R16 (120/116R) from my tire guy who I have always dealt with. He notified me that these tires are no longer available from Michelin. He recommended the Hankook Dyna Pro RH12 LT235/85R16. I was not impressed. I know I will not be satisfied with the performance or short life of these tires. I like and want Michelin. Please let me know. Are Michelin LT235/85R16 really not available? To date, I am extremely pleased with the performance of the Michelin tire. After some unpleasant experiences with other brands, I was pleasantly surprised with the ride and actual braking advantages the Michelin tire offered. The final test shall be in the wear of the tread.

This tire gives my truck a great ride and also handles just as well. I wouldn't use any other brand of tires on our vehicles. We both have 4x4's and they have Michelin tires on them. We have used other tires in the past and would never change from Michelin tires now that we have experienced the difference of the Michelin ride. We have recommended this tire to many of our friends and they now use Michelin Tires.

‘16 Jeep Wrangler 18" LTX AT2 Rain Perf can't be beat. Oklahoma Snow can be tough on lifted 4x4 pickups of all types with "Mudder" tires (a lifted favorite) I have removed countless 4x4's of all brands from local bar ditches with my LTX AT2's on my Wrangler. Always with looks of disbelief and shaking heads from the unfortunate soul in the ditch as I pull them out.

My 2012 Ford F-350 came with the Michelin LTX/2 's from the factory and these are the smoothest riding and best looking tires that I have ever had on a pickup. The ride and handling is great. Practically no road noise. I will go right back with the LTX/2 when the time comes. Love me some Michelin tires!

I have just purchased these to replace the original set that came new with my 2013 GMC Sierra 2500HD. The reason for purchasing them again is simple - they were fantastic tires. I got 51,500 miles from the original set, and of that 36,000 were towing miles. That's some pretty impressive wear in my view. Had we not towed so much we would have easily gotten 60,000 miles out of them. I kept the pressure up (they required very little additional air over their life) and rotated them every 7k miles, but that's about it. I will try to rotate this new set every 5k in hopes of getting even more life out of them. One interesting thing - although we really didn't notice it as it was probably a gradual thing, the tires must have been louder at the end of their life than they were before, because when we got the new set on we immediately noticed how quiet they were.

I chose these tires because I always trust Michelin to provide a great quality tire. that was very true in city and hwy driving. However these were supposed to have been designed for gravel road driving. I have worn down the nice thick tred in 2.5 years. I live on 3-5 miles of gravel depending which direction I am headed. Ususally it is the 3 mile out route. so I drive 6-20 miles daily on gravel allowing for 1 or 2 trips from home. I hope a better tire is designed in the near future since these won't last much longer. Please let me know if they have made an improved gravel riding tire. These keep my car on the narrow gravel roads, with lots of steep hills, but are wearing down at an alarming rate this past year. I don't believe this model is produced any longer.
