Great Tires

Installed on my '06 Xterra. I have about 10k miles on these tires and I'm extremely pleased with them. They're very quiet for an A/T tire, handle nicely, and have great grip. While these tires don't have a very aggressive tread for an A/T tire, I find them perfectly suited as an all season tire with occasional off road use when I need it. Additionally, I've had one season in the snow with them - no complaints. These cost a little bit more when compared to other similar tires, but I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Very disappointed in Mileage and Traction

Over 20 years of Michelin tires, the AT-2 is the first I've been disappointed with. 60,000 mile warranty, but I've had to replace 2 AT-2s with less than 40,000 miles on them and I have 2 more that are currently in need of replacement with 36 - 38 thousand miles on them. The cuts and sipes on the inside and outside 2 inches of the tire, which provide traction in wet or slick driving conditions, completely wear away after about 33 thousand miles. Tire shop states mileage warranty not available until wear is down to 4/32, but tires are slick @ 7/32. Not happy!

Replacement tires for Escalade 2001

Absolutly the best ties I have had on any SUV I have owned. I have had many tires and the LTX/2 are the best by far. The wear has outperformed the original tires and they have performed simply perfect in ice and heavy snow alike. This is the tire to buy if you need to replace the standard 265-70 suv tires that came with your SUV. I have over 50,000 on them and they are wearing great. Michelin is the ticket when the tire hits the road. I have a family and safety is important to me.

I love my Michelin's

I chose Michelin tires because of their reputation. I drive an SUV where the winters can be challenging. I'm impressed with the performance of these tires in the rain and snow. The gripping and stopping ability give me confidence that I will maintain control of my vehicle. My wife has leased many vehicles over the years, and her vehicles always came equipped with Michelin tires. I am happy to say " now I travel on Michelin's". In my opinion they are worth the money I spent.

Extremely disappointed with quality.

These tires were on the vehicle when purchased. 235/50 R18 Latitude Tour HP Speed rating V According to Michelin they have a 55k, 6 Year limited warranty and they are worn out at 36k miles and are dry rotting throughout the treads. They were MFG the 29th week of the year in 2014. DOT code 2914. There is no excuse to have a set of tires that MUST be replaced at 36k and I do understand that at 55k they would be almost bald. There is also no excuse for dry rotting in tires on a vehicle that is used daily and has driven for 12k miles per year. Michelin has had recall on similar size Latitude tires for a dry rot, should these have been included?

Best Tire for Big Trucks

The LTX A/T2 not only makes my Tundra look great but it is a great ride on the highway and backroads. I replaced my original Michelins with this all-terrain tire. It is durable, provides a smooth ride, has excellent traction, and can be driven anywhere. My wife wants to take the truck on all our trips now. It's the only ride where she has been able to take a nap in a vehicle.

Replaced the original ...

Replaced the original equipment tires (non-Michelin) on my 2006 Ford Explorer. What a difference, better handling, wet weather traction, and over all ride. Have nearly 15K miles and no sign of wear. These tires should last forever if I rotate them regularly.

Immediate Improvement

My F250 came standard with "something else" on it. Not a bad tire, but they always seemed to drive "heavy." When I first drove off the lot with the Michelins on I could immediately feel the difference in how the truck drove, handled, and the drag was much less. I actually expect that my mileage will improve with the better tires. Michelin tires aren't cheap, but, if they continue with the quality I have experienced over the years, the extra expense is worth it.

Great tread life

These tires came on my 2013 F-150 4x4 . I have 81,500 on them now and think i will be able to get another 5000 easy. i have never gotten that kind of mileage out of any other tire on a 4x4 truck. They also have great traction on wet pavement very trusting tire. My next set will be the exact same.
