Solid Dome!

My kids have loved having this in our backyard! It is very sturdy and strong enough that even my adult self has climbed on it without a problem. The instructions were overall pretty clear, and the pieces and hardware were nicely labeled. Our only issue with setting it up was that when tightening a bolt, it snapped. Lucky they give you one extra! However, even after being super careful because of that first snap we still had 2 others snap on us. Nothing that a quick trip to Home Depot couldn't solve, but beware with the tightening! It was tricky getting the snapped bolt pieces out of the holds. One thing to note, the metal bars on this get very hot sitting out in the desert sun. My kids can't play on it during the day, as it will burn them.

Dome Climber (earthtones)

This is hands-down one of the best investments for our children (girl, 6 & boy 2.5) to date!! The play is endless & creativity impressively explosive! Right now our son uses it for creative play to hide and protect himself from everyone or he pretends he is trapped but the fun never ends, lol, especially with his sister around! It helps to get their energy out (at least older of the 2), she runs straight to it after school everyday & in fact loves it so much she includes it in her journal entries at school from time to time.

Decent climber that's not easy to put together, just pray you never have to take it apart to move it!

We bought this 5 years ago. It was kind of a pain to assemble, but lots of big stuff is so no big deal. It seemed it kind of bent easily whenever we moved it around to mow under it but sturdy when the kids were on it. After 5 years it's already rusty on the parts that touch the ground, and some other places. The bigger issue? As we tried to take it apart to move it to our new house, all the allen head screws stripped. No way to get them out. Already tried all the hacks, got a screw extractor set that won't work because they're Allen head screws rather than regular ones. The bars are now bent and cracking where we got a few pieces taken apart from the pressure of not being supported. The whole thing is now trash. Really expensive toy for only 5 years of use. And we have 5 young kids all upset that we have to throw it away.

We're sorry to hear that your dome climber is rusting. This shouldn't be happening, especially since the the steel used to build our playsets are made with a weather resistant powder-coated finish that protects from cracking, warping, rot or splinters. It is made to be rust-resistant. However, we recommend using a rust treatment for extra protection a couple times a year, especially if you live in a high humidity climate. Try reaching out to our customer service experts. They can be reached at 800-225-3865 or by email at customercare@lifetime.com. Customer Service hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (MT).

Bought from Facebook swap

We were missing 2 climbing rocks from this dome we bought secondhand. I contacted customer service and they are sending me the 2 missing rocks for free. This is such amazing customer service. They were prompt in response to my email and to boot sending product for free. I am so grateful and I will be sure to look at other potential products!

Challenging and fun climber for 4 yr olds

We have a daycare so the height of this climbing dome was safe while at the same time somewhat challenging for the 4 years to climb. The assembly definitely requires two people but the directions were easy to follow. The metal bars appear to have a durable coating of paint on them which I hope won't chip and rust in the future

Impressed

Very impressed with the quality, it put together better than advertised, and looks great. Materials are sturdy, powder coated well with great non-slip material, colors are vibrant, hand holds are solid. Instructions are easy and feels very safe. My son loves it! thank you Lifetime

Perfect for my kids who are little monkeys!

I got this a few weeks ago and my girls LOVE it! They are constantly climbing and playing on it! My oldest daughter is a little gymnast and she loves to use it to practice on! It’s perfect for making into a fort, swinging on, my girls love hanging upside down on it, and I love that multiple kids can be on at once! Such a great buy!

Sturdy alternative to cheap swingsets.. We hope.

Our kids are 10, 7, and 3 and after being frustrated by poor quality on a supposed top brand expensive wooden playset, we saw the good reviews on this and decided to try it. Their favorite part of the previous set had been the monkey bars. Assembly took 2 men 2 1/2 hours. The instructions were a big help. The kids are thrilled with it. The youngest hasn't quite figured out how to climb to the top, which is just fine, but that will happen soon enough. My 150 lb self can climb it, it seems very sturdy.

Will enjoy later

Bought the dome climber along with the swingset. It was a little bit of a hassle putting together just because of the ackwardness of the shape. It did take an extra two people to help hold the opposite sides as I was working on the other to help hold the bars together to put the bolts on it. It went up very quickly this way too. Other than that, my only complaint is that it is way to big for my 3 yr old to enjoy. She get her legs up on the first bar but that is about it. Also the paint on the bars is very slippery.
