Stuffed peppers not good!

We bought this yesterday for our Easter lunch and it was not good at all. The meat tasted old and the texture was chewy. I have bought this entree several times before and loved it, but this time it was not good at all. My husband had 2 bites and told me to pitch it. I ate some of mine. But it was not good like we remember, not any flavor and weird meat texture.

Stuffed peppers review

These were better than expected but im used to tomato sauce in them. These didnt have sauce. Peppers were good. Glad they used the yellow and orange ones cause i would not have got them if they were green. Overall, id buy again and put sauce on it myself

Members mark stuffed peppers

The peppers cannot be cooked in the pan they came in any more - which causes a big mess often - plus disturbs the food itself when having to re-do the peppers to another pan. Also having this happen - price went up, too. Having to transfer out of container to another pan is a bummer - and can disturb the original placement of the food.

We like them!

Served with a caesar salad — we really enjoyed these peppers!! The filling is a meaty, rice filling that tastes creamy. I don’t feel liked they were stingy with filling at all, like another review mentioned. I like my peppers to be really roasted so I cooked them at 425 for 30 min covered & then uncovered for another 30 min. I topped with extra monterey jack during the last 10 min & cranked on the broiler for the last 5. Very good, very quick & easy, which is the point of buying food like this & will definitely eat them again!

They are ok

They are ok. I should have made my own. Most stuffed peppers have rice in the meat mixture. These do not. Which leaves the filling kinda greasy and soupy. I probably won't get them again, but they worked for a good lunch with my mom and kids. Paired with the take and bake Mac and cheese and the kale salad kit.

Just eh. Disappointed

I normally make this homemade, however with school starting back for 3 kids and busier than usual schedule, decided to try this. My family of 7 was disappointed. There didn't seem to be much in the way of flavor and needed some more tomato sauce, I'm my opinion. Out of 7 of us, no one wanted me to purchase again, said was bland. I hate writing negative reviews, but this won't be back on my shopping list.

Very good

We love them and if cooked properly they are not soggy. Only suggestion I would have is to add the nutrition label. I count calories, fat, etc daily. Maybe you could also make the cooking directions a little larger. Can be difficult to read. Thank you

Not bad at all

I like my stuffed peppers with gravy. So I took the suggestions from another review by adding a can of tomato sauce and some roasted pepper salsa for the peppers to cook in while warming them up. When done adding more cheese. Paired with a side salad, garlic toast and lemonade. Really good!!!!!
