[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although, I received this tub for free, Country Crock is something that has been used in my household since I can remember. Although I, myself are not lactose intolerant, more than half of my family is, Country Crock was aways used in my house when I was little since it was a healthier, lactose free version of butter. And trust me, we went through a lot of trial and error trying to find something that would work just as mindlessly as butter. Unlike some butter substitutes, Country Crock can be used without any worries about giving up taste or texture for healthier food, even now when I can use butter as much as I want, I still use Country Crock about ninety-nine percent of the time, because in my opinion, if you're looking for a margarine, butter substitute, or just a plain healthier option, Country Crock is definitely the way to go.

And the delicious taste is also wonderful. I have also incorporated Country Crock spreads into my baking recipes too. They're so easy to mix into the batter to get a nice, fluffy texture. Overall, this is a must-have for my family!

I always thought it was butter, until I was older and realized it was not. I wondered why the heck people buy this stuff instead of butter- its not even close! However, I recently received a tub for testing and review, and I find that this stuff is different, and tastier than I remember it to be. It has a pretty legit butter flavor and spreads quite easily. I enjoyed it plain on toast, and also used it in mashed potatoes, and it tasted pretty buttery in both! I am glad I was given the opportunity to taste Country Crock again after all these years!

I absolutely love this product its great for so many foods it replaces the sticks of butter my family is use to using i use it as a spread on toast and muffins and i also use it to bake chicken and sautee shrimp its not salty or oily like most butters its great and my kids love it too im glad i was able to try this product and i highly recommend it
