[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a big toast eater and I hate struggling with normal butter to get it to spread. The country crock spreads so easily on my toast and is great for making my top secret chocolate chip cookies. We really love country crock for our everyday uses!

You have ruined this with the new simple formula. Our refrigerator recently died and I assumed the horrible taste of the spread was from that. I tossed it in the trash and bough a brand new container when I got a new Refrigerator and it still tasted like stale butter than has been left without a lid to absorb the refrigerator smell. It is AWFUL. You can't use it for anything. This is all my family has bought since I was a small child, we are now all boycotting it. AWFUL.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the flavor of Country Crock Butter. I think it just has a creamier taste and texture than other butter brands. Country Crock spreads smooth and easily, whereas other brands tends to be thicker and not as creamy. I think it tastes better too, it just seems to have a fresh taste to it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] **I received compensation/free product for my unbiased review.** As a spread on bread, crackers, etc. you can definitely taste that it's not real butter but when you add it to other things like cookies or cooking with it, you can barely tell. I'm not sure if I'd use it on a daily basis in favor of my canola oil but I do turn to it for desserts and whatnot.

It is my favorite to bake with(especially during the holidays) and even use straight out of the container. You only need a little bit to make a big difference. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am no stranger to the Country Cock brand it's been in my family for years. I recently tried this again after purchasing on and off for years. Not only did it taste more like butter but it gave the same results when I used it a a reciepe that called for butter. It also has no artifical presertives.

Not my favorite, take a a bit to melt, the taste is good though. Works better when cooking with it in most things, not great for grilled cheese. Did well with making potatoes (mom makes em with margarine instead of oil) and corn in a cup. Otherwise I prefer butter.

I LOVED the round tub of Country Crock. Nothing else compared to it. I bought this new rectangle tub, not understanding why they felt the need to change the design only to find out that the taste had changed as well. I'm trying to finish the tub out but I don't understand the need to fix something that wasn't broken. Can't you offer both, the New Simple Recipe AND the Old Timey Favorite Recipe!

Used Country Crock for over 20 years, but no more. May first and last container of "New" Original Country Crock just landed in the trash can. By the way, if it is NEW it is NOT Original. Did the head of your marketing department used to work at Coca Cola?
