Country crock has always been my go to brand for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately, I had to throw away mine last night after getting it out of the fridge to find it was full of mold. Tub was maybe halfway gone if that and always kept in the fridge. I have never had this problem before so it is disappointing to have had the happen and seems to be kind of common from others I have seen. :-(

I pretty much use it for 80% of my cooking: from scrambled eggs and toast to grilled veggies and cakes. The tub is the perfect size for a family, it lasts a while, and if you use a lot like we do, it'd better be big! The flavor is perfect, creamy, does not compromise the taste of any recipe and it can be a safe substitute for butter. I love it! I got this from Influenster to try. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I both liked the taste of this product. The new packaging is easy to fit in the fridge and get product out of. We used it for baking, preparing meals and just as a spread and thought it was great! I don't typically like margarine but I was very impressed by this. It was also easy to spread, which is a plus for us. I would recommend it.

I cannot abide the new recipe taste, I thought something was wrong with my taste buds when I opened this new container on Christmas for my family. But I was not alone in my thinking. So end result I had no spread for my Christmas dinner, we used Parkay sticks instead

Why fix something if it's not broken. I purchased this butter as I have for many years. Country Crock is the only butter I bought. Now you have change this flavor and I will have to find another butter. Hopefully with all these negative reviews of the new recipe you will decide to go back to the original flavor

I wrote the company on facebook and they are content with the new recipe and don't plan to change it. That's ok, that's your prerogative to do so but as a mother I have to buy food that my family will eat and they won't eat anything with this butter in it- no mash potatoes, no corn on the cob, nothing! They hate this butter, they said they don't like it so as a mom I have to do what I have to do! Look for a new butter that they will eat!
