IT'S so much better in taste, and so much easier to bake and cook with! I used to have to put my stick buttering the microwave to soften it before use, now I am able to butter my toast immediately because of how smooth and soft country crock is :) thanks country crock

It's got a great taste and it's perfect to use in almost every recipe you make in your kitchen. It's affordable and something I will always have handy in my refrigerator. I used it on my waffles and it was so buttery. I put it on my backed potato and it was delicious. I really did enjoy the taste and texture of it. I haven't used it in baking because I am a butter believer but I think I will try out some of the recipes on this site.

This butter is awesome and has been for years. I have always remembered this being what was in the fridge growing up and it's what I buy now. I got this for review and I was so pleased with the new packaging. My daughter eats "butter bread" all the time and was excited about the cool new tub. Will keep on buying this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always avoided Country Crock because there used to be way to many ingredients I couldn't pronounce in their products but I have to say they have really stepped up their game. I was pleasantly surprised to see way fewer ingredients and all that I could recognize. I personally prefer to bake with a spread like this instead of eating it straight like on toast or a roll, for something like that I still like real butter but for baking this is a champ! I've made several kinds of cookies, brownies and a banana bread with this and they all turned out fabulously! Smooth texture, creamy buttery taste and good melting power, what more could you ask for? A winner in my book.

I am writing this review because I received this complementary from Influenster for testing/reviewing purposes, but we've always used it.

I've used this for 20 years. Now it's time to find another brand. This new taste is awful. At first I thought my taste was off. But everyone in my home says the same thing. We have thrown out food we cooked with this spread. I keep trying it hoping it will get better, but it doesn't. Sorry Country Crock, this new taste doesn't work.
