If I could give the "New Simple Recipe" zero stars I would. It is absolutely disgusting. Why in the world would they change it except for maybe trying to pull a few extra cents profit out of each tub. I would gladly pay a few extra cents for the real "Original" Country Crock.... Now my butter money goes to Land O Lakes....

However we have seen changes over the years, like reduced amount in the round tub, down a few ounces, and then a change of flavor (like burned popcorn butter) when the rectangular tub was introduced. We need to purchase another tub, and do hope the old standard flavor will return. You had something good, why was it necessary to change it?

I love country crock because it is creamy, easy to mix with ,and gives the dough that yummy buttery flavor. It also helps the cookies get that nice golden color. I received this product for free .
