[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try Country Crock! I keep pushing more and more for clean eating with my family and I. I love that it is gluten free, and contains no preservatives! We made some gluten free cookie's with it, and they tasted amazing!! I prefer this over real butter any day, and feel better having my family eating it as well! I received compensation/free product for my unbiased review.

I'd give it a zero rating if I could, but it won't let me. That's the only reason I gave it a 1. I have been buying country crock for as long as I can remember. My son is a VERY picky eater. I didn't tell him anything was different when I buttered his bagel. I didn't think it could be THAT different. After one bite he asked what I put on his bagel and asked why I didn't use the "regular stuff". I thought he was nuts, he's SO picky. Nope... he's not nuts. I tried it and it is AWFUL! The taste is just awful. I figured I'd just use it to butter a pan or something like that. Nope... that was no good either. It almost seemed like it wasn't going to melt. It had a weird consistency. We have never used anything else. We are literally doing butter/margarine taste tests at home to find a suitable replacement. You're new recipe will not do. I really hope you change it back. You'd gain the respect of all your loyal customers and we will definitely come back. I really don't know what we are going to do now. Seems silly that this would be such a big issue in someone's life, but I guess it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never tried Country Crock butter until recently. I used it as part of my annual mashed potatoes recipe and it was a hit. The butter is extremely soft and smooth. My favorite is spreading it over warm toast. The texture is creamy and does not taste heavy.

Country Crock is a brand that I used to buy regularly and moved away from, so it was like trying it new all over again. I love the consistency which makes it easy to scoop from the container and easy to spread. The taste is mild and not overwhelming- just enough saltiness. I am happy with the product and enjoy it.

Just got back from the store. I had to go buy some Blue Bonnet. This new formula Country Crock is not Edible! I have used Country Crock for 20+ years but until the formula is changed back I will never buy it again. This new stuff ruins anything it touches.

I didn't realize the new tub was actually a new recipe until after I used it and thought it tasted too salty. It is also way softer than the original. However, the biggest problem is you can't cook with it. I tried cooking eggs in bread and it stuck in the pan even with cooking spray. Also, I tried sautéing with it and after it melted it left a hard clump of what looked like plastic, very unappetizing. Please switch back to the original recipe that we all know and love!!

The sizes of the tubs are perfect for different needs. The taste of margarine is also delicious. I like all of the different Country Crock flavors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the smooth buttery taste of Country Crock Original, and how it is soft and easy to spread, even when I first take it out of the refrigerator. I have been using it for several years now and it has never failed me from grilled cheese, to dessert baking, buttered pasta, and everything else in between. It melts well, has a rich buttery taste, and does not have any funky aftertaste

I do not know what you did, but this new recipe for the original taste is rancid. I ran out of the old recipe after buttering half a bagel and use the new on the other half. Biting into the new almost made me gag. My doge didn't even want it! I had to throw it out, it just smelled and tasted like solid yellowish year old vegetable oil. I have to say, you may have a whole new market to tap for this product...send it to those guys on Whale Wars to throw at the whaling vessels and ruin the meat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest i choose country crock because thats all I've ever known. My mother has always cooked with county crock so thats why I started. I love the taste, the creamyness of it. Its really easy to spread. I enjoy using this product very much so.
