Even though neither of us use butter alternatives we decided to give this a try and we are glad we did. The product was soft and creamy and mixed well with the ingredients. They were perfect for my home made mash potatoes and added amazing flavor into my green beans, I melted some down in the microwave and then brushed it over my dinner rolls right as they came off the oven to add a great buttery flavor to a store brand roll!

Country Crock WAS our family tradition for decades... and the "new" butter is horrible and salty and now we are stuck finding a new butter because Country Crock is terrible now.... it tastes cheap and just wrong this is NOT the ORIGINAL country crock by far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spread was really creamy and spread nice right out of the fridge. However, when we cooked eggs the ended up with a weird flavor. I would recommend it for spreading on toast, but not for cooking.

The new Country Crock is disgusting. I have been using Country Crock for over 30 years. When I got married I convinced my husband to use this brand of margarine because it was what I grew up using. My children (used to) prefer it over butter, but they and the rest of my family do not like this new product at all. Why do you think you have to try to fix something that isn't broken? If you want to make a new product, make a new formula IN ADDITION to what you already have available, and let your consumers choose which one they like better. I'm pretty sure you would find that other lifelong users of your product would agree. I will no longer be buying Country Crock margerine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In essence, this product is a replication of butter, but it’s not. It’s different unhealthy oils that I don’t purposely consume on a daily basis. This is good for a last resort but I would not routinely purchase for myself.
