[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family uses country crock everyday. It's good on toast but I mostly use it to cook my eggs. I know it's called a spread, but I mix it in my mashed potatoes and my breakfast grits. It's not as fatty as butter and it has a creamy feel.

I'm not super into having cold butter on my food; however, I did use this to bake cookies for Easter coming up and they turned out delicious! The texture is creamy and smooth. The product is not overly salty.

I wasn't sure what to expect because I usually use organic butter. It was really easy to sauté with because it melts to a vegetable oil consistency and everything cooked evenly. It was also really easy to spread on bread/rolls. I think if you acknowledge it's not supposed to be a replacement for butter but instead something different, it's a good addition to your kitchen.

Loved the consistency and the buttery taste was very satisfying. Felt like I was eating something special without the guilt.

We alternate between original and calcium types, but no matter what kind we get, we're never disappointed. Country Crock has a great taste, a perfect spread, and doesn't spoil quickly (we're just two people and we don't use a lot of butter, so it's important to have food that lasts in the fridge). I highly recommend this brand to any and everyone. You won't be disappointed!

My meals I prepare with Country Crock have been in a tailspin since they changed the recipe. I have tried all margarine on the market to replace this joke of a "new recipe". Did not find any margarine that came close to the old recipe. Finally found a "whipped butter" that has a great flavor and has less fat than "regular butter" This "whipped butter" comes in a small tub. It is more expensive than margarine and does not spread well right out of the fridge but if you warm your knife first it will spread better. I have discovered that I need to use less because the butter flavor is more intense. I hope you all success in finding something that works for you. Just wanted to share my experience. It took months to find the best option for me.
