[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Country Crock is not my favorite butter like spread. The taste is okay and spreads easily straight out of the refrigerator (which is my favorite part). But it's not very good to cook with nor did it work well in place of butter to bake with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Country Crock has been used in my family for generations... first by my grandmother, then my mother and now me for our famous chocolate chip cookies... love sharing this family tradition now with my own daughter. It's easy to use in any recipe and always taste great.

Apart from it being a contradiction in terms, this new "original" Country Crock tastes nothing like the original. It is not an improvement. It is, quite frankly, more than disappointing it is practically inedible - such a shame - used to love the "original" Original. Time say goodbye to an old friend - time to switch brands I'm afraid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my Country Crock free full sized sample 2 days ago that in itself was amazing. Tried it for breakfast on my muffin it spread so smooth. Loved the consistency and the buttery taste was very satisfying. Felt like I was eating something special without the guilt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Taste's great; can't tell the difference from butter.  No after taste.  Spreads evenly and easily.  Use it for everything; spreading on bread, on baked potatoes, on all kinds of cooking and baking.  Is specially good when used in poaching salmon.  Imparts a great creamy flavor and wonderful texture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm usually not a fan of vegetable oil based spreads and opt for real butter, but since I got this free from influenster, I decided to give it a try. It has great flavor and spreads very easily. It's great for making grilled cheeses and spreading on breakfast toast. I'm not a fan of the ingredients, but I works in a pinch when I need to be able spread butter and don't have time to soften the real thing.

I received this to try free in my Darling Voxbox and am so happy I did! I used it to make my crockpot rice pudding as a surprise for hubby on father's day. Both him and the kids scarfed it and said it was some of the best rice pudding i've ever made. I loved how soft and creamy it was and easy to work with plus it added a great taste as well. Will be repurchasing this in the future!

I made really great and fluffy pancakes with this, as well as used it in mashed potatoes and other meals throughout the week. No one noticed it wasn't butter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very satisfied with the the way it spreads. The way it tastes, toast, and browns just like butter, and simple natural ingredients. Country Crock has always been a go to for me and I'm so happy that they changed the ingredients for the better.

For years I've absolutely loved Country Crock. This new version is horrible. My son and I had some of the "old" recipe left and did a side by side comparison and both were disappointed. Texture, taste, and smell were all wrong. Now we're on a search for something else.
