[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Crock butter is amazing. It is easy to melt and stays firmly if needed. I used it to make a Sopapilla Cheesecake and it came out perfect! We also use it on toasted bread, pancakes and so many other foods!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally we use this product for spreading on toast or bread/cornbread. This time I got it free to use in baking cookies. I've never used Country Crock in any of my baking so I gave it a fair shot. We could all taste the difference and unfortunately it wasn't in a good way. The texture and the taste weren't unpleasant and the cookies won't go to waste but I won't share them outside of my family because these don't hold up to the standard I keep my baking at when sharing with others. The product is great as a spread on toast or cornbread which is what my husband uses it for but it will not make an appearance in my baking again.

My mom used country crock so I do, 43 yrs and it's all I've known. New brands have come, none ever tasted as good. Giving consumers options to eat better is a great thing. Along side all those people who have poor diets are those of us who don't, and you've taken away our right to choose. No matter what, country crock isn't responsible for all the obesity on the planet, but they are responsible for how a simple ingredients change has effected every single recipe that I make. I don't drink or smoke or do drugs, a little original Country Crock isn't that terrible for me. I appaud their efforts but hope they will give everyone back their right to choose.

I have been using Country Crock for years and loved it. I bought the new container and thought it was the same recipe just different packaging. The new recipe tastes awful and I will be returning my tub to the store for a refund. I will never buy this again. Time to find a good tasting butter. So sad!

It does not dry out in the fridge and is not clumpy like other spreads. This is a very inexpensive product that can be found nearly anywhere! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new spread! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product complimentary from influenster in exchange for my unbiased review. I was familiar with country crock as it was used often in my house when I was younger but I hadn't used it in a very long time. When I bought it I found that it had a new packaging which I liked the smaller square made it easier to store but I did find I didn't care for the cover as I felt it didn't seal as well as the old. Once open it was still creamy, buttery and easy to spread. Found I still liked it in baking and cooking and originally thought oh wow it hasn't changed in years. But then I tried it on toast and muffins and found that the taste is different and seems to have too much of a fake taste in those situations. Which was too bad cause it held up to the old till then.

It's such a great substitute for butter, and is great on vegetables!
