I love to spread it on warm bread and savor the taste. Country Crock re minds me of family get togethers and enjoying each others company.

But my husband insisted on having Country Crock in our fridge. Now we both absolutely love it. The taste is amazing, and we use it for almost everything except baking.

Nothing ruins beautifully toasted bread more than a cold, chunky glob of butter! My latest endeavor was making apple pie from scratch using Country Crock Original Butter, I could not have dreamed of a better ingredient.

We have always used Country Crock, it is what my Mom always used so I never had to decide what butter to use. Country Crock every time. Soy husband comes home with the new tub and I love the new packaging. He used it on some toast 2 days ago and he mentioned he missed the little pig tail that was left on the top in the center (this man loves his butter and would scoop out the little curley center part and eat it, not on anything, just the butter... Gross, I know! But that is how much he loves Country crock). Last night we used the butter again and my taste buds instantly rejected the yellow nastiness that was pretending to be the butter we have grown to love. He mentioned the taste was "off" a few days ago but thought it was just because he was getting over a cold. This new stuff not only tastes nasty but has a nasty after taste, almost fishey. I don't know if I have made it clear enough yet so let me say it again this new recipe is NASTY, GROSS, VILE, an assault on your taste buds.

I cook a lot of Indian food and the process takes a long time and Country Crock butter doesn't burn or have a bad after taste. It's the perfect amount of salt and does make a huge difference when baking. I'm glad I got to test out Country Crock Butter for free through influenster.

However, I believe they have changed their recipe and I am not a fan of the new taste. It is convenient, but not my favorite butter spread. I received this free in exchange for my honest review.

And just add a little garlic powder for garlic toast to eat with pasta, and on the pasta. Like I said great stuff!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flavor is great, nothing artificial about it and when I use it to cook it holds up so I can use it to make a white sauce. It had been a long time since I originally tried it and I think it has improved considerably since I formed my original opinion of it years ago. I have been converted and will buy it again soon. I may even switch from my usual spread because most stores don't carry it in the larger tubs and I need an alternative for that reason. So long as I can get a large tub, Country Crock will go in my cart! I received this tub of Country Crock complimentary and had somewhat low expectations but ended up really loving it.

You don't have to wait for the butter to get soft with this stuff. It lasts a lot longer than regular butter too. and is completely replaceable in most recipes.
