Made mac and cheese and it obviously calls for milk and butter. I took my first bite and was like EWH...I though maybe my milk was bad so I ignored it. Then I spread some on some toast and had the same reaction..new doesn't always mean better country crock. Don't mess with a good thing !

I love the Country Crock Original , we use it in many things we cook and bake. Recently I made some cookies , your basic sugar cookies but added fruity pepples to the dough and used Country Crock in the recipe. The cookies were soft and creamy in flavor that they melted in your mouth . The whole family loved them. The texture of the spread is smooth , creamy and glides on with ease no matter what we use it in.

been using country crock for several decades.wouldn't use anything else until you changed it.it is now horrible for cooking and for consuming. give us back the original recipe...no one in my family will will be buying it any longer... you have lost a lot of long time customers

It tastes so good, spreads easily, and comes in a small, convenient container. I tried this in several dishes including just spreading over toast, and it didn't disappoint! I will definitely be purchasing more in the future!

I have used Country Crock Original my whole life, my Mom, Brother, Sisters, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins. My whole family also uses it. Not anymore. It taste horrible since you changed the recipe. All of are now looking for a spreadable that has a better taste. Bad decision on your part. Also the change in the shape is useless and the lid doesn't stay on.

I don't remember my mother or my grandmother ever using anything other than country crock and since i starved own family 22 years ago it's all I've r ever used, tried buying generic brands maybe 3 times to save money but CC was always much better and worth the cost, that is until now, my family wouldn't eat it the new CC if it was free! Being from the south i fry everything and cook everything with butter, but tried frying hot dogs and pork chops with the new CC so far and it burned and crystalized on the food and left the pan full of oil, and it tasted horrible. my daughter tried making a grilled cheese andthe CC caused it to burn. after a lifetime of using CC i will now be changing, ill return this new tub to the store and get store brand, it definately cant be any worse.

In fact, for some things, I like Country Crock better than butter. I like that it's always soft and spreadable, even right out of the fridge! That it spreads so easily, makes it perfect for grilled cheese sandwiches. It works just fine a substitute in baked goods and though I prefer a saltier flavor, it's not bad on toast. It's also more affordable than butter. For frugal shoppers like me that's a big win and the #1 reason I choose Country crock over butter when making my purchasing decision.
