I received a free tub of Country Crock to review and give my honest opinion. Well, I can honestly say the taste is just as I remembered growing up. It makes the best cookies and cakes.

Great taste, my baking always comes out wonderfully golden brown, good value and I love the square containers. I clean out the containers when I am done and use it as a storage containers (great for storing a fresh batch of cookies).

I put a dollop in my marinara sauces to give it a more creamy delicious flavor. I use it in baking, cooking, on toast and rolls the list is endless! Sooooo yummy!

Original Country Crock spread offers a subtle taste perfect for any dish ranging from cookies to sautéed veggies.The smooth buttery consistency spreads easily onto my morning toast and mixes evenly into my cookie dough compared to other spreads I have used.

I really like the texture of this spread, but being a health nut, I always prefer completely natural products. For what this product is however, I thought it was better than it's competitors and was the closest tasting to 100% butter, and my family absolutely LOVES this stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the free product for my unbiased review, but have used Country Crock in the past. For starters, I love the new tub design. The previous design was bulky and took up quite a bit of space; however, the new design allows me to succeed at fridge tetris. I am really picky when it comes to butter/margarine/spread. A lot of the times, spreads leave a terrible aftertaste or are extremely oily. Country Crock original is bursting with country flavor and goes perfectly in muffins (made some banana muffins for my toddler last night), in mashed potatoes, cakes, on breads, etc. I can always count on Country Crock to deliver fresh country taste at an affordable price.
