The previous recipe was delicious... I was such a fan and used it on everything. The new "simple" recipe is... Simply blah! I can understand the move to make the product as healthy as possible but the sacrifice in taste is too much for my whole family. Thank you for the past decade of providing us with a delicious spread... I guess all good things come to an end. Time to look for a better balanced product (healthy but still tastes good)

We have been using Country Crock spread since it first came out. My wife tried to change brands a couple of time through the years but I insisted we go back to Country Crock. We bought our first tub of the new recipe stuff and it will be our last. I think it tastes like plastic and will not buy any more Country Crock. It doesn't melt, spread or taste anywhere near as good as the original recipe, we will buy another brand as soon as we can get rid of what we have left of the "simple recipe".

We have tried other spreads and have always come back to this one. Personally, we all like the "Country Crock with Calcium" the best, but they all have been used in our house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made the cookies on the recipe card that were for the #MakeItYourOwn and then I rolled them out with the rolling pin and used Easter Bunny cookie cutters and I cant tell you how good them came out. Usually I have such a hard time with the dough for the cookie cutters and with the Country Crock recipe I had no trouble at all and I think that they came out absolutely delicious. I cant wait to serve them to my guests this weekend!

Don't get me started on how tasty it was on my dinner roll. I've been using it for everything. The price is amazing I couldn't believe the quality of the butter considering it wasn't pricey at all. I sautéed veggies with country crock and they turned out really well. I love the great buttery flavor that it gave! My children didn't even notice that it wasn't butter when I spread it on toast!

I thought I was the only one to notice the change in taste of the new simple recipe. So I got on the webpage to read the reviews and was surprised to find so many dissatisfied with it. I don't like real butter and only ate other spreads when someone didn't have country crock at their house, but now I will have to find a new alternative. Doubt I will find something as good as the old recipe. Please change it back!

Our family had used Country Crock for as long as I can remember. We have stopped purchasing it after the formula change. It used to be a good butter substitute that had a decent flavor. You cannot cook with it anymore. First try of the new stuff I tied to cook fried eggs. Old country crock worked well enough but the new stuff gets clumpy and almost seems to crystallize when heated. It kinda works out if you are just buttering toast, but I'm not going to buy 2 products that taste similar for different uses. I just swapped to a brand that works for all of my needs.

I had bought a tub of the new butter left it out and it molded, I have never had this happen before. I also will be like many others and looking for a new butter. I really liked the older version there was nothing wrong with it but with the new one molding I have no choice but to switch brands
