[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Country crock is very good tasting for margarine. It closely resembles the taste of home churned butter. It bakes very well and holds its flavor in non baked dishes I.e. Vegetables and meat dishes. Can use it in just about anything you can use real butter in and still get the butter taste without the butter price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the taste and creaminess of the product! It always feels "soft" and doesn't get rock hard like other butter sticks! Spreads on evenly and smooth onto bread without breaking or tearing it apart! I love how it comes in both stick and tub form! I use the sticks for cooking all the time! I just wish it came in unsalted versions (I've never seen those down here in Miami, FL!) -- I would totally use it for baking cookies and cakes too!

I like the look of the new tub, but when I used it the taste was immediately awful, I thought it was me, but when my daughter complained I realized it was not. I looked on the tub and it said new simple recipe. It is not good, in any way. The taste is awful, then there is a thick filmy after taste that is so bad my gag reflex took over. We had made grilled cheese and the bread just stays soggy, we thought it was the bread. Please, please change it bad to the original recipes, especially churn style. This is the only butter I have been buying since you came out. Now what?!

I love the flavor and i would never buy anything else until recently. I have stopped buying it because when i am cooking sometimes my hands are full and i reach in the fridge to get it with 1 hand. Quite frequently i drop it because the lid comes off on me. I never had that problem with the round tubs.

I received this to try free in my Darling Voxbox and am so happy I did! I used it to make my crockpot rice pudding as a surprise for hubby on father's day. Both him and the kids scarfed it and said it was some of the best rice pudding i've ever made. I loved how soft and creamy it was and easy to work with plus it added a great taste as well. Will be repurchasing this in the future!

As a child I remember my grandma, aunts and uncles always recycling the containers for leftovers lol. The butter is fast and easily spread on all of my favorites from pancakes to toast. The new recipe is as enjoyable as the last and I like that they're trying to make the recipe healthier.

It wasnt until after I told him what it was. He was in shock, he swore he could always taste the difference but he couldnt this time. I got this for free from influenster but all opinions are my own.

Country Crock is always an economical, as well as good tasting, choice. I don't buy it often, but whenever I do, I enjoy the flavor and texture of the product. A little seems to go a long way and lasts a long time, for the price you pay. I would recommend for people looking for an economical choice,

We have used country crock original for many years. Sorry to say we will not be using it any more. Your new "simple recipe" original is way off base, flavor wise. I think this is a bad move. Why mess with something that worked. You lost another customer.
