I typically use stick butter but I've been keeping a tub of this in the fridge for easy spreading. Country crock is great for that. It always spreads super easy straight out of the fridge. Creamy and nice taste. Will continue to purchase. Great for toast and grilled cheese!

I received the Country Crock Calcium plus Vitamin D complimentary for my review and decided to go ahead and grab the Country Crock Original to compare. I really liked the Country Crock Original. I felt that it had a really nice, REAL butter taste to it. It worked well in everything I whipped up. It was very easy to work with. I felt that it enhanced the flavor of my foods rather than take them over. I highly recommend this product and felt it was worth the purchase.

The butter mixes way better than most I have used. It stays soft even when put in the fridge. Which is what I love. There is no problem spreading it on bread toasted or not toasted.

I've been a Shedd's user for many years. My wife brought home a new tub this week and said it was the same Shedds just a different container. It was immediately obvious upon tasting that the flavor had changed. I have no idea what you did but it will be the second biggest failure since Coca Cola tried to change original Coke.

I have been a loyal customer for over 30 years, my parents for almost 60 years. We DO NOT like the new country crock. It does not taste anything like what we are used too. We have never purchased another brand but this new butter is making us have to venture out to find to butter that is similar to our favorite original country crock. It makes the food we prepare taste horrible! So thanks for the change you just lost multiple loyal customers just within my friends and family circle. I have searched numerous stores in our area to find anyone that has any original country crock with no luck!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a complimentary item for review and to check out the Country Crock new formulas (we had a choice of product to test). I chose Original, since I'm a regular user of butter rather than spread. It had a great taste on my toast, almost to the point where I didn't realize it wasn't my usual butter. It has a nice creamy consistency and I loved the fact it was easily spreadable and I didn't have to wait to use the product. I have not had a chance to bake with it, but I have made mashed potatoes, spread it on my toast and bread products. I wouldn't mind repurchasing the product in the future.

The only time I eat them is when I am at someone else's house and that is all they have. But, because I received a container of Country Crock for free from Influenster in my VoxBox, I decided to give it a fair testing. What I love about this Country Crock is that it is spreadable. I greatly dislike going to make toast and realizing I only have a solid stick of butter in the fridge which first needs to be softened. For me, that is pretty much the pro to this product. Unfortunately, it is still margarine which is my greatest beef with it. It contains hydrogenated oils which are not good for you in any way you look at it. I have never given my kids a margarine product since we always use real butter, so I decided to give it a go and just see what they thought. 4 out of 5 of them noticed a difference, and 3 of those thought it was not as good tasting as butter while 1 thought it was about the same. The other apparently couldn't tell. I personally don't think it tastes bad, but I also love my real butter. In a pinch, I suppose this would work for something, but I won't be switching from my real butter any time soon.
