It's smooth and silky and doesn't tear the bread! We also cook with it for that one of a kind buttery flavor. The new design fits much better in our fridge. I would recommend this product to those who like a soft, smooth buttery spread! The ingredients are also impressive!

It has an authentic butter taste, unlike other buttery spread products I've tried. I love that Country Crock contains no artificial flavors or preservatives, and has 0g of trans fats per serving. Made with real, simple ingredients, & a source of good fats, it's perfect for any recipe! Plus, the smooth, creamy texture makes it great for spreading! I would definitely recommend this product! It has, and always will be, a staple in our kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This girl LOVES bread, which in turn means I LOVE buttery goodness on my bread. I wanted something for the bread that I made for Thanksgiving and had heard country crock is a great route for warm soft bread. Country crock was super easy to spread and had a delicious taste. I'm glad I went with it as it didn't tear the bread like regular butter seems to do.

I used to use Country Crock for everything, LOVED it. Now this "new recipe" butter is nasty, tastes horrible, cooks horrible it's like cooking with plastic, even looks like melted plastic and is hard to clean out of the pan when used for frying. I used to refuse to buy any other if the stores were out of it, I would simply wait for them to get more, but now I am seriously thinking of buying something else, because I can't stand this "new recipe". Big mistake changing it, if it isn't broke don't fix it. Tonight I was getting ready to cook, put a small amount of your "new recipe in my skillet, fire was on low, as soon as the butter melted I pulled the skillet off the fire to finish preparing what I was going to cook an extra minute maybe two minutes at most.... I am including a picture of what your "new recipe" butter turned into, it is hard and looks like melted plastic...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great as a substitute for unsalted butter when you don't have the time to wait for it to come to room temperature. I suggest chilling your cookie dough for about an hour before baking so the cookies don't spread.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always loved the creaminess of Country Crock. It spreads so nicely on toast or even delicate rolls without tearing the bread. Yesterday, though, I tried it in my baking...and loved it! I made these luscious gluten free lemon blueberry muffin cookies and they came out moist and delicious. This is going to be my go to for baking now.

We have been using country crock for a long time, and we are extremely disappointed with the new simple recipe. It tastes awful, and ruined the meals we used it in. Also, it sits on top of bread like icing and doesn't melt and doesn't combine with olive oil when we're cooking. We will be returning this immediately and switching to a different product. I have to wonder how this passed quality testing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for free in a VoxBox and I actually loved it! The only thing why I did not put 5 stars was because pf the fact that they don't have a wide variety, for example an organic version. But really good product overall!

I've used many artifical butters over the years and country crock original is my go to. It has the great taste of butter and works wonderfully as a spread. I use it in pretty much everything. I fry chicken it in, use it to make cookies and cakes, put it on my toast, I even melt it to put on my popcorn. It doesn't have the oily texture like most artificial butters which is something I really love about country crock.

It was easy to get out of the container, no scraping it over and over just to get a little out. When I put it on bread and bagels it was so easy to spread and melted quickly. I used it to bake cookies with and it blended in great with the mixer. Will definitely keep buying this butter!
