It is very versatile and affordable and we use it in many different dishes and meals. It also tastes great and lasts a while. Its flavor is mild but still discernible which I love since I am not a fan of overpowering flavors. If this is your preference also, you may like this. The container is also quite sturdy which I love also.

It is just the best out there point blank. Not to oily based and easy to use.

I can definitely say that I was proven wrong. This was so creamy and easily spreadable. I found that it even resulted in a cleaner taste. I would definitely recommend switching if you don't use this already.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've recently received a sample of Country Crock to re-try the brand, but all opinions are my own. I've also actually been familiar with Country Crock for years. I grew up with this brand in my childhood home. My folks were a "no butter" house and used to go between this another well-known brand as an alternative to butter. This was my preferred brand for flavor and spreadability. The flavor is smooth, but doesn't distract from the baked goods I've spread it on. There is no weird chemical taste that sometimes pops up in butter substitutes. I most recently had this on my english muffins and also melted some on my veggies for dinner. We're going to try baking with these and see how it goes. It's super easy to spread a smooth, easy layer that melts nicely. Some butter alternatives will split out and become watery - not this product. Overall, a brand I've known and trusted for a long time that I feel comfortable offering to my family.

I received a sample coupon from Influenster and can safely say that I will be making the switch. This is the perfect spread for crusty breads, morning toast and holiday baking!

I'm not even going to mention the taste or smell when cooking with the "new recipe"; but it definately does not like heat. As a matter of fact it goes through some kind of chemical change; as it heats it goops up in the pan, becomes a glob of sticky stringy stuff that sticks to the food. You can't cook eggs with this; and to drizzle over vegi's -- forget it. The goop can't possibly be healthy to consume. I'm certainly not going to give it to my loved ones. I've switched to another brand.

You couldnt even taste the difference between using spread and butter! the cookies came out light and fluffy. i received this product for free for the sole purpose of a review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Country Crock original spread was really buttery and worked really well for making toast, which I eat almost everyday. It also made me feel better knowing that this spread is healthier than regular butter or jam spreads that I could use. Additionally, it worked just like butter in all my recipes so it was an easy substitute. Overall, a great product and a healthy alternative to butter!
