I received the Country Crock Original spread complimentary from @influenster for testing purposes and my honest review. I've always loved Country Crock, but usually opted for the lighter versions. This one is just as tasty. I love how easily spreadable it is, and it's great to cook with or just put on toast. I definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Country Crock for years. Lately I have been buying churn style and it was nice to get the original again. I use it in my cookies and i put it on my vegetables. It makes the sweet corn taste wonderful! It is so creamy!

I had childhood memories of country crock, but as a mom myself now I am always cautious what I give to my child. The new simplified ingredients make me feel better about eating it and has been a staple in out house since dairy is no longer an option .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I like the new recipe for country crock. It is great for baking and tastes just as good if not better than when I was a kid. My biggest downfall with this product is that it doesn't melt well. I like to use butter and spreads to cook in when I am using my frying pan and it just doesn't melt as well as the original recipe or other spreads/butter

I don't go through much, and I tend to use it primarily in baking/cooking. I don't think this is a great alternative for those purposes. The benefit, to me, would be when you want a softer, spreadable butter alternative.

Growing up with country Crock as a child and now as a grandparent I have always loved the creamy taste. I use it while cooking and also baking. Not only do I use the spread I also use the sticks. This product is great when it comes to baking and cooking, which I do a lot of.

I felt it was overly oily and didn't have the same butter taste I expect from butter. It is reasonably cheap if you cannot afford real butter, so that is a plus but I just didn't really care for it.

When I bake the butter helps my cookies get an amazing taste. My family is also a big fan of mash potato and love this product and can't have enough. It's crazy that my daughter automatically gets it when we are at the grocery store, lol.

And unfortunately, Country Crock isn't that one. This is my first time using Country Crock Original and I'm not overly impressed with it. Mostly, I've used it to cook with. I'll add some of the Country Crock Original to my pan and then cook chicken, eggs, or whatever i'm cooking at the moment. It works decently enough for that. However, using it any other way, I'm just not impressed with the taste of it. It's quite oily at times and has made my bagel and toast very soggy.
